Some good news on an otherwise gloomy day for the markets again:

Bluewater Bio International said it has signed a memorandum of understanding with Czech Republic-based water and sewage operator company Vodny A Kanalizace Karlovy Vary, A.S. to develop a pilot plant for automated wastewater treatment.

The wastewater treatment company said it is also in the process of establishing a 100 percent owned subsidiary in the country and has appointed David Paul as chief executive of the unit, Bluewater Bio CEE.

Bluewater Bio said its UK unit has signed a letter of intent with Severn Trent Water Ltd. to conduct wastewater treatment study. The company said it expects the pilot plant evaluation study of Bluewater Bio's HYBACS solution, which is currently under construction, to be delivered to the site within 6 to 8 weeks, after which the biological commissioning of the plant will start.
