In the US Friday, the DJIA lost 97 points at 12,151, the Nasdaq fell 41 points at 2,733
and the S&P500 shed 13 points at 1,300.

In Asia today, the Nikkei was recently down 72 points at 9,420, while the Hang Seng was
closed for a public holiday.

WTI crude oil traded at $100.12 a barrel and gold settled at $1,546 an ounce.
