Jumped into this bullet proof little number today, mind you its had an incredible run, so I might have missed the big rise. Still if they keep using large chunks of cash to buy shares for the Employee Trust it seems like a no brainer. Anyway adding these to my new "safe" portfolio with ELECO PTI and CKN

SATURDAY PRESS COMMENT 6th Dec
FT
THE LEX COLUMN. LANDROUND (on a forward p/e of 14; that reflects to some extent the potential of Buy and Fly if it can make the jump from business promotions to the consumer market; the company is confident that will happen in the next two months)

Good news as expected from the AGM statement, I like the "substantial" and the long term earnings prospects, a major contract announcement will be revealed later.

Finally, the price starts to recover. This is on the basis of the Buy and Fly! credit card deal with Morgan Stanley - to be announced on Monday. This was revealed a couple of weeks ago in Shares Mag, but no one took any notice.

I noticed that but I think concerns about oil prices seem to outweigh the news. Lets see what happens tomorrow.

Ouch! Share price getting absolutley caned today on profits warning. Sounds like they have not managed their accounting very well - maybe they need a better FD! I'm not sure the share price deserves to be punished quite so hard.

A few months ago,the founder Michael Crompton, sold a lot of his holding to increase liquidity and satisfy institutional demand.Several years ago,the founder of Betterware,Stanley Cohen, sold a big stake at over 3.00 for the same reason.Later they fell to below 40p but he took them private at over 1.00.Now Landround have had a big fall the same could happen here.

Or have they been oversold and we are in for a rebound as per proteome sciences (prm). This was tipped in shares magazine as a share of the year, they must have something to say next week.

Good solid director purchase today at 225p should help to steady the ship.

Yes it'll recover, but probably not as far as 375 or whatever. It shows poor judgement on the management's part that they made such a major error. What's to say it won't happen again?

shares mag says its a knock back but nothing to stop it doing well in the future (but they would say that woundn't they).

a little while ago shares magazine suggested a run to 360-380p area was possible given resumption of encouraging trading and chart recovery - 8p ex div now out of the way and AGM due end of Jan so fingers crossed - sub 10x rating looks low to me given where its historically traded. should be at least 20% upside from 280p levels - I like the story and some yield/chartrecovery to go for - any views out there?
