I-TOUCH WILL BE THE FIRST COMPANY IN THE UK TO OFFER MOBILE PHONE DOWNLOADS FOR A FLAT RATE OF 1.00. AT PRESENT ALL COMPANIES OFFERING THIS SERVICE USE PAY PER MINUTE FACILITIES WHICH USUALLY COST 1.50 PER MINUTE AND LAST 4 MINUTES.......OR 6.00.
ITU HAVE BOUGHT MOVILISTO IN SPAIN WHO SUCCESSFULLY ROLLED THIS PRODUCT OUT AND GOT OVER 60 MILLION DOWNLOADS IN THE FIRST YEAR. THE KIDS CANT GET ENOUGH OF IT SEEMINGLY, AND THAT IN ONE OF THE SMALLER EUROPEAN MOBILE MARKETS. THE GREAT THING ABOUT THE SOFTWARE USED IS THAT ALL KIDS HAVE TO DO IS TEXT A CODE NUMBER FROM THEIR PHONE( THE CODE BEING THAT OF THAT OF THE LATEST POLYPHONIC SONG THEY WANT)AND WITHIN 1 MINUTE THEY RECEIVE A TEXT TO THEIR PHONE WITH THE SONG ON IT)...........AND ALL THIS FOR A 1.00.
EMI GET 50P, THE MOBILE CARRIER GETS 10P AND ITU GET 40P.IT WILL BE EXPLOSIVE AS HAS BEEN SUGGESTED IN THE RECENT ATRICLES IN BOTH INVESTOR CHRONICLE AND SHARES MAGAZINE BLUE SKY PORTFOLIO.

Hightone,
These are just my thoughts although they are based around a call to the company recently. The fellow who deals with IR was away so I spoke to one of his minions who did say that the downloads were going very well indeed and were ahead of expectations at that time. What that means I dont know but they probably told me more than the IR chap would have done.
It is when ITU start getting 1 million calls a week then it gets fun but I think the main thing is that they can show for now that people buy it if they know about it.
ITU's valuation is till so low that any news regarding this new number is going to propel the stock up I feel. When I spoke to them they said there was an announcement coming about soon regarding the results which should be out in September. We may have a quiet month until then.
Yes Popstars et al all go through us and there is also talk of voting for government think tank studies by phone too.
I think this could be a huge stock, well if buying at these levels anyway.
