This sight seems to have some very nice and well balanced people on it I find goldfinger especially interesting and i find it sad that someone finds it amusing to attack him on here.He gives some very usefull and well balanced thoughts on shares and it would be a shame to make him feel unwelcome People have a choice to follow his advice or not, DYOR.I for one have done well from his input.

The way you say I understand that GF must has wrongly dished out on the other thread. I assume on ADVFN, was a bloody throwing of argument not in avery nice way. However I read advfn as well, I found in some place on ADVFN rule has not been kept regarding fairness. are you bad or good guy, say in a normal way what you think for exampe say that you think the opposit and explain what in your opinion the higher interest rate will affect on certain stock other reader only want to read opinion and should make picture for themselve, and we are all happy. Why should we get used to call someone in a not-very-friendly anner, I am sure if you, Thirdeye, have tried the person whose opinion you argue with will react and response in a fair manner.
I think MacPaulass put up this thread to indicate aggressivity won't help in the stock picking process, and aggressive discussion manner\partner are not welcome here. That is all, not against negativ question, not against You or Thirdeye, as you interpret. Sorry if I misunderstood you.
It is not that people here doesn't want to hear negative question I think a balanced view on negative and positive are ok, acceptable, but try to run someone down by shouting, bullying for example would not bring much good atmosphere. The way something is said IS WHAT people here are concern about, it starts to take a character similar some other BB, . About the aggression level, intention, I am sure you see it as well. Sorry if I have understood you wrongly or don't know enough about the pre-history, but even when we haven known the whole story, what happened overthere, happened there. Here is a different house if the host welcome guest, guest should have repect for diffrent set of rule, the fight over there should stay overthere, that is the fairness people want , would you agree with me.
I read for example Mel's FAR2 thread, there sometimes are arguments contra argument but the level is in a frame of fairness, people feel happy to hear argument from both sides pro and contra, there and here as well all they want here why can we not have argument/discussion of that level of fairness.

I have been visiting this site everyday - several times - for some time now. I have visited others, one of which was good until fairly recently when it changed completely.
Please stick to the point, keep this site the best stockmarket small company information service!
Many thanks to Goldfinger, Haystack and all other fountains of market info.

Hear hear Angi - there is no value to be had from unpleasant and personal attacks/vendettas aired for everyone to see whether they want to or not - for those that seem to need that, go and take up boxing or rugby or something but please keep this site an informative, relevant place to post - PLEASE

Well, to be honest I'm here because Goldfinger is here. Prior to that I have never posted on this BB. For the moment I am attached to a couple of other Share Forums & do not have enough time to post on all three. I see this site is improving in quantity & quality of posts...
I shall keep my eye in & see how things develop. keep up the good work MoneyAm, GF & everyone else who I may or may not know!
