Trades execution fault !!

ATan - 10 Dec 2003 02:03

Hello all,

I got a little situation here which i am not sure what i can do - wonder if anyone experienced this before??

I made a telephone call to Deal4free on Fri to put on a buy limit on the Dow, and on the following Mon when i ring i was told that i have no position opened. I was told that they couldn't find in their tape a recording it and therefore concluded that i didn't make the call. But the funny thing is there was a limit order placed (which was my stoploss for this trade)on that day which they said was the only call from me on the Dow position.

Then today (Tues) when i checked my account, i found my position on DEB was closed whilst i was at work in the morning - i certainly didn't execute this trade!! I asked them how can that happen to which i was given an appalling reply of 'human error can happen'!!!

Anyone has any suggestion/advise or at least let me know if such things happens!! I lost more than 80pts worth of potential profit on the Dow and it makes me wonder are they deal4free or steal4free!!
