Last year, I was asked if I could organise a meeting for people who live in the southeast, who found it difficult to get to the one we do, nr Basingstoke. It's taken me a while, but I have found a venue, which I can get to reasonably easily in the evening, mid week - in Grove Park SE12 (towards London, near A20, off M25)
I'm proposing something initially informal, a social get together for one evening. No food, but can provide a bin if you bring your fav. take away with you! Reasonable priced bar, unusual but comfortable surroundings. Plenty of parking, and close to Grove Park BR.
I need to see if it's worth organising, so please let me know if there is any interest.

Hi little woman.
I am not a newbie to investing but very new to short term trading. I am very interested in meeting you all but cannot make Wednesdays. Any chance of another evening?

OK - went to the venue today.
I left home (15 miles north of Winchester) at 1005 and drove the 80 miles (A31, A3, M25, A20) to arrive there at 1120 - 1hr 15min. (Not saying what speed I managed - hows your maths?)
Returned home later then planned, but left the venue at 5.25pm (!) and managed to get home at 6.50pm - 1hr 25min - which I must admit - I was surprised, only a couple of little delays (Had to wait to get through some lights because there was a lot more traffic!).
I'm considering changing it to a Thursday eve, so I'll drive there and back the same night. Also it's really easy to get there from the M25 from A3 (jnc. 10) round to A20 to London(Jnc 2?) so anyone in Sussex, North Hampshire, or East Surrey would find it easy. (I also have a fall back route - A22, to selsdon, west wickham, bromley & finally grove park - its actually 20 miles shorter than the M25, but takes the same amount of time!)
