I was going to use the old rampers phrase but I just couldn't bring myself to title the thread "Alpha Airports Taking Off".
But they have put on some pennies in the last few days, 8.99% today alone. Don't ask me why, I haven't a clue, but if you have I would appreciate the information.

Finished up at 1 on the offer, that's the first time that's happened for a long time :-))

A very quiet thread this one, not surprising considering the share.
Can anyone confirm I am reading the charts correctly. Just done a 13 day/200 day RSI chart and it looks, on current trends, that AAP may be heading for a Golden Cross, if trends continue. Is this right or am I missreading the situation?

Socco, got away from these a short time before the suspension. Share price just got back to what I sold for (at a loss) Not over happy when the two top brass leave the company together. Not sure why they left yet, has it been made clear why to the public?

Re the 'Golden Cross' the 200 day ma is still molving down yet the 50 day ma is moving up. Needs for the 200 day to start rising and the 50 day ma to pass up through it to create the golden cross

Just rechecked 200 MA on AAP. looks to me like it is rising slowly having recently passed its nadir. On a long timescale chart it is not obvious but looks good on a three month view. Golden Cross possible fairly soon but I wouldn't want to second guess when.
Will it make any difference if it happens I wonder?

You're right Socco, it is moving up a little, don't know what I was looking at earlier.
Only thing I can think of is that my feet were aching and I was walking about on my hands....all a question of the view taken :-)
Good luck.
edit: Stupid me had the AHT chart up!

It was good to see the new contract wins with East Midlands and Bournemouth Airports that were announced in January. Not that it had much effect on the share price.
Must be good for prospects in the longer term though.

Alpha Airports just took off. Possible take-over is very good news.

Autogrill now bought another 17.4% of AAP for a total holding of 29.9%. I cannot believe they would pay over the odds for such a stake if there was no intention to buy the lot, eventually.

I'd be happy to sell at 125p but there may be enough holders would sell out lower than that. I've seen 126p bandied about but that was just an educated guess from another holder. Bear in mind that there must be a few holders who bought when AAP floated at 140p, but I suspect that if offered a substantial chunk of their original investment they may well be tempted to get out.
It will be interesting to hear the boards views on Autogrill's actions.

That's that then, all over bar the shouting, buy out at 110p. Can't see another offer coming in, too late for that in my opinion, not now that Autogrill own such a large chunk of the equity.
