The sp has risen substantially over the last few days. Nigel Wray has increased his stake to over 8%.He has obviously got something in mind.Pressure on the board to sell of some of the land bank? Or a full blown takeover? You tell me please.

yes
they piced up Honeygrove for a reaction of the right price (IMO)
certainly the Honeygrove shares had been trading at nearly double the price the directors considered fair and reasonable when approached by Oakdene
I exepct they all have good jobs within the new empire however

Nice to see people having to pay a premium today to buy the shares.

Last time I look they were 25p, they have large debts , not a good place to be in todays markets. Can't see them lasting too long, the building market is even worse than we think.

I heard that Oakdene has breached its covenants and running out of cash very soon.

A few small investments totalinig 10k's have raised sp 14% - OK this is from a low, but if Banking Issues are true ( and why not?) then the sp is about to fall sub 10p . . . . .why would anyone buy "now" unless it's Directors (hoping to) secure their positions . . . . . but I dislike ( No-News) large swings, as they can operate the other way, just as quickly.
-Maybe anticipation that the "US Bank-recovery" will be starting soon, now their Elections are in view!
