I hope we do see an increase in 'buying' Volume
this week. However, unless the price spread is
fixed at a reasonable level who can blame ordinary
investors from staying away from these?
It seems at whatever level you buy this share the
price continues to fall. I'm not sure which is easier
to do pour money into a black hole or buy more
AMU shares. Whichever one you pick the result seems
to be the same. You lose money.
I've been holding these for most of this year and although
I'm content to 'hold' and not 'sell' I cannot see myself buying
anymore. At least not until I see the Interim figures and
then see some sustained upwards movement. The only people
whom seem to be profiting from these shares are the MMs.
Today one single 'sell' trade of 84k led to the MMs dropping
the bid by 4%. By the end of the day this loss was reversed
even though there was no other trades. If anyone can make
sense of this please explain. Throughout the year a small volume
of 'sells' has led to dips and large 'buying' volumes have led to no
movements in the share price. Personally, I think enough is
enough. I thought these were a bargain at 8p, 7p, 6p, 5p, 4p
and then 3.5p now I think I will have to just 'hold' and hope
eventually these are re-rated. I hope I don't have to wait too
long but I fear I may have too?

Evening All
Expecting to see some good interim figures on Monday
taking into the account the tough conditions in the retail
sector. I'm expecting the figures to come more-or-less
in line with broker forecasts.
I have read on various other discussion forums that AMU
is in financial trouble and about to go bust. Don't make me
laugth. I visted the Distribution Centre in October 2005 with
another shareholder and spent a few hours talking with the
Redworth Directors.
It is not the business I am worried about it is the shares. Today
between 8am-4pm there were a series of 'buys' (albeit not really
large volumes) however, the share price did not move. However,
we have seen for months that a few 'sells' of even 20k will send
the share price down. At the end of today as usual the price spread
widened. I stated earlier this week that I would not be buying anymore
of these shares because of the behaviour of the MMs and I mean it.
Ordinary small investors do not stand a chance of making a profit
from these shares because of their behaviour. It was only when
the price spread was narrowed to .25p that we saw any decent
volume of buying this week. The consistent wide price spread is
the main reason we have not seen the share price move upwards
this week ahead of the results.
