NXT, Looks Like A Good Trading Stock Up To Results Late February. (NTX)

goldfinger - 13 Jan 2006 11:21

In the past Ive never liked this electronic flat speaker company as its always been a jam tomorrow story, a would be blue skyer with plenty of froth on the top with a management who have failed miserably in my opinion. Ive even shorted it and made a few bob out of it but very recently I have done a 'u' turn on the company and have gone long, the reasons being that the company have a new MD in place and the guy appears to be getting his team pulling together and gone are the silly corporate mistakes of the past.

Its recently won its first mass production license with Toyota who are forecast to become the biggest car manufacturer in the world overtaking GM.

Today it as given out a very Bullish statement after the recent CES trade fair and the share price as reacted strongly to the news in the last half hour.

I beleive its worth having a punt up to the results as in the past they have usually moved up around 30% to the interims in late february. At the interims its then a case of waying up future development forward.

DYOR.

It would appear that this co. is starting to do the big deals, something I was hoping for yrs ago - I was drawn to this share very early on in it's life as a tech co. when the flat speaker was it's new techology way ahead of the field when it was then called Verity (it's core business was drum manufacture)

Since then it has seen many ups and downs but this can be a really exciting performer and I firmly believe we are now going to see the sp take off this yr. The exciting thing is that the tech all patented and ahead of it's rivals (originally evolved from MOD R&D) can be used in a staggering number of devices and anyone using it will pay royalties to NXT.

It is clear now that the way forward is this NXT "flat" technology and Toyota have endorsed this product - many will follow. I expect this to be the yr for many licencing agreements and the co. to turn around into a profitable leader in it's field. Think of it as the new Dolby and you can see what I mean. The graph also looks extremely promising as the TA rises, the price holding at 64 indicates a move to 90 and with more news could see the 1 level breached again soon.

Frampton - 13 Jan 2006 16:59 - 8 of 48

I bought a few of these earlier on in the week, GF, I agree it's looking for short term upward movement.

goldfinger - 14 Jan 2006 10:28 - 9 of 48

Many thanks robstuff and frampton, your views are much appreciated. I see it did fall away a little in the afternoon friday, mind having said that a lot did as did the markets in general. I just love that bullish statement re- to the CES and the way forward in general. This chap in charge is ex ARM I beleive , he looks to be made of stern stuff.

Its worth having a look at previous years going up to results note the historical rise. Going to have a few more Monday.

cheers Gf.

A speculative article from another Board, could it be NTX are about to announce other mass producer car manufacturers as customers?????????????????????.

Interesting debate taking place on TMF BB hears an extract.Hi Roger,

First off let me clear the point that it was a client not a freind that this conversation took place with.

Further to my post iv'e done a follow up with my client to try and pin point his information, in the first instance i asked him how he got his information,he recieves these cars approx 3-6 months before their offical release, along with a full spec sheet of what the cars contain,he will need to know the details of the spec as this is obviously the key selling point of the car, Now when i spoke to him yesterday i asked him about the toyota and reported his reply, i then asked if he knew of any other releases imminent, and he said there were ,Toyota,Honda and mercedes, and i asked him if he was sure these were NXT enabled,he said they were not given the details of the company names,of supplyers on their spec sheet, only that they were flat panel speaker systems, the same as the toyota, and i got the impression, IMO, that he and his collegues were expecting more.
IMHO that this guy isn't an invester, his conversation was very matter of fact.
I know my integreity was questioned over the Hadens e-mail and i posted the entire e-mail as proof, this is a conversation that took place, and my honest report of the conversation,it is not my intention to ramp or mislead, only let other fools know what i know, for the benifit,i hope, of us all.

good lovin

Latest generation Toyota Estima fitted with NXT-equipped roof liner

NXT plc, a provider of unique sound solutions, best known for its flat panel
loudspeaker technology, today confirms that the new Estima minivan from Toyota,
one of the world's largest auto manufacturers, will feature an NXT-equipped roof
liner sound system when it goes on sale in Japan from today. The announcement
follows the December 2005 statement that Toyota will introduce a similar
NXT-based system in its North American FJ Cruiser sports utility vehicle from
March 2006.

A new generation of stylish and luxurious vehicle, the Estima is Toyota's latest
minivan and is equipped with many innovative features, focused around a
luxurious cabin designed to offer passengers maximum comfort levels and
class-leading entertainment options during journeys. Available with a choice of
engines - 2.4 litre or 3.5 litre - the vehicle's refined, contemporary styling
is designed to evoke the identity of the Estima in a sophisticated 'one-motion'
form.

The clean, open interior is accented by a high-tech-looking central panel and
the Estima is equipped with 'club-style' second-row seats (complete with
built-in footrests) and power foldaway third-row seats enabling the complete
transformation of the interior in seconds - luxury MPV to spacious minivan at
the touch of a button.

The Estima's impressive entertainment system is designed to increase the

NXT-enabled roof liner to dramatically enhance the sound. The direct-drive NXT
loudspeaker system delivers a truly immersive sound field to envelope passengers
in high quality, rich audio. Depending on model specification, two separate
sound systems are available, both built around the NXT-equipped roof liner -

1) Estima Panoramic Super Live Sound System; 11 loudspeakers (four NXT speakers
(roof liner), one centre channel and six conventional speakers), DSP for high
quality sound even in the rear seats, HDD navigation system with sound library

2) Estima Panoramic Live Sound System - eight speakers (two NXT speakers (roof
liner), plus six conventional speakers), HDD navigation system with sound
library

NXT Chief Commercial Officer, Graham Ryan, commented, 'Toyota's use of NXT roof
liner loudspeaker systems in the new Estima and the recently announced FJ
Cruiser underlines its commitment to enhancing the in-vehicle experience for
drivers and passengers through the use of advanced technology. The Estima's
NXT-based loudspeaker system delivers an impressive audio performance and we are
delighted to see our technology being employed to such good effect.'

Priced from Y2,667,000 the Toyota Estima goes on sale in Japan from today.

Although the two Toyota deals will not have any material effect on the interims in February they will certainly affect the finals later in the year.

I expect the broker forecasts to be smashed albeit from a low base, and I do expect the house broker to upggrade forecasts.

Bodes well for the SP.

cheers Gf.

Should spike up before the close, before it hits the papers!

goldfinger - 16 Jan 2006 15:22 - 17 of 48

Well Im hoping so Rob. Im 100% certain now that the house broker is going to have to up there stance from neutral to BUY. Ive heard from a reliable source who hinted at the last 2 big deals that there is also more deals on the way with other car manufacturers. I dont think we will get anything from the broker until interims are out though next month.

Morning GF - I have been watching this for some time now, missed the spike a couple of weeks ago and have subsequently made a small investment. I do think the prospects are reasonably good and I think this technology will bring about a step change. As I understand it they have always had problems with the Bass element - but perhaps that has been cracked now.

Any way - on board again

goldfinger - 17 Jan 2006 09:50 - 22 of 48

Glad to have you on board Baza, hope everythings going well havent seen you for a bit.
