4 free issues of Share mag

rooney - 16 Feb 2006 12:34

Are the 4 issues part of the total number of magazines you recieve for the yr, anyone know?

So you pay 123 for 52 issues (1 year)?

Or 123 for 48 issues?

So are they really 4 issues and is it really a good deal if you go for it?

Cheers,

Andy - 19 Feb 2006 00:37 - 5 of 13

Hubia,

Are you sure?

I have just checked the Shares subscription site, and if I click to subscribe, it says;

"Total to Pay:
123.00"

I would assume total means total, so cannot see where they add the VAT.

Kayak - 19 Feb 2006 00:46 - 6 of 13

? There is no VAT on newspapers and magazines!

Shares magazine "

Now you tell me what is right or wrong. They even put an exclainnation mark after vat! !!

Kayak - 19 Feb 2006 19:26 - 8 of 13

I think that that is simply a mistake. There is no VAT on magazine subscriptions.

Andy - 19 Feb 2006 19:39 - 9 of 13

kayak,

I agree, they clearly only ask for the fee and no mention of VAT.

Maybe Shares can respond and clarify?

IanT(MoneyAM) - 20 Feb 2006 07:28 - 10 of 13

Hubia,

FIrstly let me apologise - there is no Vat and it is a flat fee of 123. It would appear from what you have said that the wording in one of the E mails you have received is incorrect. I apologise for this.

I can confirm that there is no Vat on this and it is a flat fee of 123 as advertised.

Ian

EDIT: We have now changed this text error in the confirmation E mail so that it correctly states the true price of 123 flat rate. Hubia, thank you for pointing this out to us
