With yet another contract added again today I feel that Designer Vision Ltd is the stock to back and get in early on the car entertainment boom.

I've seen the advfn thread but thought a little coverage was needed here as well, good prospects worth shouting about.

Results out on Mon 27th March so a much clearer picture will
emerge then of just how well the company is performing hopefully.

From 12p to less than 3p in a year - loads of contracts with big name co's, Ex Virgin blokey on the board. Looks like a steal, but the sp performance is a little worrying. Isn't it?

What a rise ahead of prelims monday - 43% rise on small number of trades must be low on stock, traders will take their positions Friday ready for Monday. Heres hoping for good news, onwards and upwards more blue sky to come.

Good result today, checked the year end results with my companies Finance Director who expressed an opinion that the company was heading in the right direction for recovery.

Turn-over up from 2,574,709.00 to 9,256,354.00, Losses reduced, extra funding of 500,000, increased cash reserves. Increased client base, new products and increased orders, other income streams coming on board.

Looking like a good start to 2006 and heading in the right direction to an operating profit.

A good recovery stock in laymans terms.

I agree a good recovery stock and it will start going back up when all the
traders are fully out.

That never can up this morning, but if I manage to get some more time with our Finance Director (used to work for Ernst and Young before working with us full time) I will ask the question.

Some recovery today as traders have had some time to take in the year end results and can see the long term potential.

I cannot understand AFX producing their news release with the headline "loss widens" !!

The book value of the company has improved.

Ratio of Assets against Losses for 2004 was 2.7-to-1

Ratio of Assets against Losses for 2005 was 3.7-to-1

Rising book value has a positive impact on the market value which in turn pushes the share price up.

Yes I do understand that, hopefully the loss will decrease as we progress through the year and pushing the book value higher still.

US$10m Retail Supply Contract

Designer Vision, a leading supplier of portable multimedia products to the retail market, announces that it has secured a US$10m contract to supply Toys R Us in the USA and Europe. The initial order is for 50,000 "Designer Vision" branded portable DVD players, 20,000 Twin screen DVD systems, 40,000 MP3 players, and 4,000 video cameras. Further orders are expected throughout the course of the current financial year.

A nice increase in SP to match, profit taking to commence as normal.

Just arrived back from a 10 day holiday and what do I see, yet another contract. There coming thick and fast.

Designer Vision, a leading supplier of portable multimedia systems, announces that it has secured a contract to supply a major US retailer with 24,000 1GB MP3 players. The initial order is for "Designer Vision" branded MP3 players and is valued at US$1.2m. Further orders are expected from this customer throughout the course of the current financial year.

The order will be delivered within 21 days and will go on sale in May in the customers network of branches throughout the USA. The new "Designer Vision" branded MP3 players are manufactured exclusively by Designer Vision on behalf of the customer.
