Another fine for Liverpool - following their supporters behaviour
Wonder what sympathy they have for the families of those children they could have injured
Always the victims............

Karanka set to face old boss Mourinho in the Premier League
Lloyd Watson
BBC News Online
Jose Mourinho's appointment at Manchester Utd means Middlesbrough's season has just become a little bit more exciting.
Boro boss Aitor Karanka was his assistant at Real Madrid before taking over at The Riverside.
Can the apprentice dethrone the master next year?

Even the BBC have given up on '66 and made a programme about '96 instead where England were famously dumped out of a competition on pens(lol there's a suprise).
If anyone saw Shearer's programme about '96 (wasn't bad and made a nice change from a game by game re-run of '66) did you notice the track they played as the final titles and credits were rolling ?
I almost fell off my chair laughing as either the person who chose it is clueless or it was done deliberately by some Taff !

Good result for England last night !.....to me tactics were right spot on !.....the Portugese are a dangerous side designed to defend catching teams out if they don't defend properly and RH and GN got it right.....the team were patient and it looks like with now and again some fresh blood they can punish the opposition......why am I so optimistic about England's chances this time ?....lot of talent in the side might be the reason......come on : this is a far far better side than two years ago !.....we need a little bit of luck as well.....you do in these major competitions....so many times we haven't had any...perhaps the tide might turn in our favour !....Harry Kane was lucky not to have be turned into something out of a stunt from the "Beyond the Pines" special effects with that crazy Bruce Lee lunge from that Portugese player !....why do I suspect things like that ?.....remember Rooney....gets a broken foot...(during 04)....Beckham gets injured badly against La Coruna if I remember correctly !.....hmmm.....just before finals.....hmmmmm...anyway good luck guys : win that cup... COME ON....so far overall I'm impressed with the squad and the way the team plays !...lots of variations/permutations of style...that's the way to play .....

Everton have 'green light' to appoint Koeman
by Lyndon Lloyd | 04/06/2016 35 Comments [Jump to last]
De Telegraaf in the Netherlands report that Everton have reached an agreement with Southampton to pay off the remainder of Ronald Koeman's contract, clearing the way for him to become the club's next manager.
The Dutch paper says that the €5m deal was result of tough negotiations between the Toffees' major shareholder Farhad Moshiri and the Saints, represented by CEO Ralph Kruger and director of development, Les Reed, but Everton are now able to finalise personal terms with Koeman after an agreement in principal was reached with his agent Rob Jansen yesterday.
Jansen held productive talks with Moshiri and Chairman Bill Kenwright on Koeman's behalf but Everton weren't granted permission to speak directly with the former Dutch playing legend until compensation was agreed. Kruger and Reed were thought to be confident that they could persuade Koeman to stay at St Mary's Stadium, at least to see out the final year of his contract, but the lure of a significantly increased salary, a reported £100m transfer war chest and the promise in Moshiri's ambitious plans appear to have proved decisive.
Koeman made his name as a world class defender who starred for all three of the Netherlands' big clubs — Ajax, PSV and Feyenoord — at Barcelona under Johan Cruyff and on the international stage for his country with whom he won the European Championships in 1988.
As manager, he has managed six teams in Holland and also had stints in Portugal and Spain before continuing the renaissance of Southampton begun by Mauricio Pochettino, that despite seeing some of that club's best players sold over the past two summer windows.
He led the Saints to 7th place in his first season and then 6th place this term, falling just three points off the top four but securing Europa League qualification for the second year running.
Koeman would be joined at Goodison Park by his brother and assistant manager Erwin and, possibly, by first team coach Jan Kluitenberg as well, alongside both of whom he worked on the south coast.

Once again our muppet morons distinguish themselves abroad ; they cannot sit in a pub/French café without behaving like idiots....a normal fan would not try to antagonise the locals with chanting/ throwing bottles/fights at two in the morning two full days before a game....not our lot...they have to be at it straight it away....it seems that the british police don't seem to have any idea as to who the troublemakers are going to be ahead of these important games....something has to be done ...and not bullshit speeches by poilticians saying how bad it is....really...these hooligans are giving Britain a bad name....

Hope I'm wrong but I can see Wales and England both struggling tomorrow but ..... if they can both win then they can settle for a draw when they meet next Thursday and be 90% sure of qualifying regardless of the result of their 3rd game.
