RTD - Why? (RTD)

Nitefly - 15 Sep 2003 10:55

Why are we again at 10.5p bid?

It doesn't add up...

Good Results + Strong buying pre results + Christmas online buying soon = Price drop

Then again some companies that have debt for equity hanging in the balance, poor results and bankruptcy around the corner and they go up!

Why sell now at a loss?

Wont that be a kick in the teeth when we see 13.5p 14p again!

Best of luck all.

:-))

Tokyo - 12 Jan 2004 10:39 - 503 of 2406

Does anyone know if any divendeds will be paid out on these shares this year? Did I read somewhere a figure of 1.7p? If anyone has any knowledge on this could they please let me know?

thanks

Fundamentalist - 12 Jan 2004 10:54 - 504 of 2406

There is no dividend to be paid on this share - certainly not from a company release. Looking at the stage the company is at you won't see a divi for 2-3 yrs imho. 1.7p would be a yield of 13% - not something you get with a small tech stock i'm afraid

Tokyo - 12 Jan 2004 14:04 - 505 of 2406

to Fundamentalist

thanks alot for the info

apple - 13 Jan 2004 01:45 - 506 of 2406

Perhaps a dividend of 0.17p 1.3%

Douggie - 13 Jan 2004 08:52 - 507 of 2406

Divi. would be nice I,ll settle for a daily, weekly even show of blue, :-))

javidshaik - 13 Jan 2004 09:55 - 508 of 2406

RTD looking good today. Nice number of buys so far this morning. Still time for people to buy in before the spread and price increase. I doubled the number of shares I am holding this morning.

Tokyo - 13 Jan 2004 10:26 - 509 of 2406

We have had previous estimates of 20pence in March, others at 30 pence.
What do you guys think the price will go to after the reports are published in March? Any guesses? (as it is starting to look very interesting, to all of us that held these shares in the terribly boring period) I bought in at 9.1p and am hoping for around 25p come the end of March

beaufort1 - 14 Jan 2004 08:16 - 510 of 2406

RTD up to 15p at the start today. It's really starting to motor.

javidshaik - 14 Jan 2004 08:17 - 511 of 2406

Yeah, some positive movement now!

Douggie - 14 Jan 2004 08:42 - 512 of 2406

will it hold ???? xfinger

javidshaik - 14 Jan 2004 13:00 - 513 of 2406

Nice buys & upward movement going on! Moved passed resistance a little while ago so this should continue up now!

apple - 14 Jan 2004 13:06 - 514 of 2406

I'm glad that I was patient, I'm on 50% profit so far :-)

javidshaik - 14 Jan 2004 13:21 - 515 of 2406

Good for you apple. In fact well done to everyone who has managed to stay in while the long boring times were around. Times are looking very rosey at the moment. My advice now is to stay with the trend and not to worry about small fluctuations but please as usual, DYOR!

apple - 14 Jan 2004 14:02 - 516 of 2406

Yep, it was boring waiting for it but I got in just under 10p so it has been well worth it.

I expect we will see some profit taking before the next move up.

But hey they should be making a trading statement soon & then it will really go.

1982roy - 14 Jan 2004 14:21 - 517 of 2406

bought theese at 7.5p so I have doubled my money could double again to 30p

caleydog - 14 Jan 2004 14:54 - 518 of 2406

I was in a very long time ago with too much at 10p and wasnt happy at 3p ! Should I get out now and save my nerves ? How much is there really to go for here - the past chart is just a nonsense - could it make 20p ?

javidshaik - 14 Jan 2004 15:03 - 519 of 2406

Let your profits run! Now is a silly time to jump out of the stock!!
Can it reach 20p? Yes and it can go somewhat further. 20th/21st of this month will be important days and we will see this share go up further in my opinion in the next month or so. We will get fluctuations with profit taking but the trend is upward and I see it staying like that for a long time.
For everyone who have held out over the last few months while times looked bleak, well congrats is in order and dont be scared to hold on for the good times! Let your profits run!!!

beaufort1 - 14 Jan 2004 15:08 - 520 of 2406

No hang on Caleydog, this has only just started to rise and we have had a very positive newsflow over recent months. I think we shall see continued rise in the share price up to final results in March. Incidentally I spoke to the company recently (Carl Clump's PA) and she said that they were not going to be issuing a trading update later in Jan. They did recently release the news about the figures for Xmas internet purchases - which was v positive.

I do not know how far it will go but there is a lot more upside. Medium term prospects depend on the 2003 results - it would be foolish to prejudge those.
The chart looks great. As always DYOR.

caleydog - 14 Jan 2004 15:10 - 521 of 2406

Thanks for your encouragement javidshaik ! I was so far under water on this one I have more or less written the cash off in my mind so will just hold for a while yet.
