required field - 14 Jul 2010 13:55

It is now time to switch to a new Money AM football blog as the world cup is now over and we all look to the future.....World cup 2010 is over, Bravo Espana, and Forlan, once again and bring on the new season !.....I never expected the last thread to be such a success...thanks all.... so this new one might go on for years without the need to edit the title...we shall see...

We'll be up by then Stan and thanks for sorting Swansea they are now out of it for second place imo.

Remaining fixtures :

QPR (h)
Preston (A)
Middlesborough (H)
Someone (A) :-)

Stan - 18 Apr 2011 09:49 - 504 of 6918

Dill,

Not at all any time -):

Joking aside that was a good week for you, and if you can keep that form up and QPR get docked ? pts. you could end up Champs.

Anyone watching this, just seen it.

Trillion Dollar Con-Man: Panorama.

Panorama tracks down a fraudster who stole a football club and broke a bank. With his tales of foreign gold and assets worth 2 trillion dollars, the con man fooled politicians, celebrities and the City. He even tricked the former England football manager, Sven-Goran Eriksson, into visiting North Korea to support his scam. So why were so many people taken in, and how did one man run rings round the regulators and authorities? SUB
Today on BBC1 West from 8:30pm to 9:00pm

Chris Carson - 19 Apr 2011 20:41 - 506 of 6918

Watching Newcastle v Man Utd match, come back Andy Gray you are forgiven. Sam Allardice football commentator? I don't think so!

Dil - 24 Apr 2011 01:33 - 507 of 6918

Championship will go to the wire and will be all to play for ilast game of season imo between Norwich and Cardiff for second spot behind qpr but they (qpr) got a league disciplinary hearimg hanging over them with a points deduction up to 20 on the cards.

Stan - 27 Apr 2011 10:17 - 508 of 6918

Burnley still in with a shout for the play-off's after a storming win at Derby.. 2 easy games left, Leeds away and Cardiff at home -):

Ed; Sadly the word on the QPR business is a financial slap on the wrist rather then deduction of 20 points or a smaller points reduction which does not affect places.

ManU are looking home and dry.....they will give the spanish a lot to think about in the final....

Chris Carson - 27 Apr 2011 12:50 - 510 of 6918

Barcelona under 13's would have performed better against Man U last night. Infact Wolves would have given them a better game, no offence to Wolves fans!

Chris Carson - 27 Apr 2011 21:59 - 511 of 6918

Bit 'Narky' those Spaniards eh! Not the best advert for the European Cup but that second goal by Messie sheer class.

ptholden - 27 Apr 2011 22:28 - 512 of 6918

Spot on Chris, a dreadful spiteful game. EUFA should really sanction both clubs. I thought the referee had an oustanding game considering every decision was contested by a minimum of three players from each side!

Messi's second goal already being dubbed the best in CL history, not without some justification.

required field - 28 Apr 2011 08:20 - 513 of 6918

Tremendous goal....ManU will have to watch him ....the thing with Barcelona and most spanish teams is that that they don't enjoy being rattled and that's what the reds will have to do : rattle them without opening up space in midfield....

Chris Carson - 28 Apr 2011 08:50 - 514 of 6918

Programme on Bobby Charlton BBC2 9.00pm tonight. Legend and a true gentleman on and off the field.

required field - 05 May 2011 21:42 - 515 of 6918

ManU-Barca as predicted....the best way for ManU to play is perhaps a pick them off style of play...slow...slow...slow...quick..very quick...slow...slow...with good defending and a no Messi gets hold of the ball attitude, plus every shot on goal must find the target from Rooney and the lads and now and again a real (no pun intended) good go at them for 5mn or so...."if you can keep your head when all others..."....you could lift the trophy my sons !.

Chris Carson - 05 May 2011 22:31 - 516 of 6918

Barca will pass em to death. Scholes if picked will walk, Rooney wont get over the halfway line. Come on you Reds! :O)

required field - 06 May 2011 08:02 - 517 of 6918

I think that ManU have a big, big chance of winning if they go out on the field with determination....

Joe Say - 07 May 2011 08:21 - 518 of 6918

I think that Chels have a big, big chance of winning if they go out on the field with determination....

Chris Carson - 07 May 2011 08:24 - 519 of 6918

I'll drink to that Joe! :O)

Dil - 08 May 2011 01:18 - 520 of 6918

I don't Joe , I think they're a bunch of overpaid spoiled prats with no respect for anyone or anything but wtfwik.

Stan , 3rd team never get promoted nor the in form team so its between Cardiff and Reading imo :)

required field - 08 May 2011 09:54 - 521 of 6918

30 on ManU to win this afternoon......now guys as I get everything wrong you know what to do....

Chris Carson - 08 May 2011 10:02 - 522 of 6918

Better odds rf if picked Scholes to see RED. 9/1 Rooney 14/1

First goalscorer Rooney 9/2, Torres 6/1, Drogba 5/1. Probably get better odds elsewhere above with Ladbrokes.
