Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

Max,
It isn't spending money which is the problem, but how you earn it, On what, or where and why you spend itl
These ex - Bullingdon boys have been spending money they never earned, at the expense of others while seemingly on hallucinogenics on themselves and mates.
Austerity, I wonder what the bill for Lynton Crosby is?
Misread this a short while ago:
"David Cameron appoints Lynton Crosby to run Tory erection "
Thinking back they still need his help!

If we do go into recession it will be interesting to see Camoron explaining away why the unemployment figure as increased so much and so quickly because these poor devils on nil hour contracts will be the first to go and have no protection and there are so many of them.
Add on the self employed Zombie jobs and this country will be in one hell of a state and in double quick time.
Lets hope it doesnt happen and the EC get printing money as its the only way out now.

as i have long said, if DM had been elected as leader instead of Wallace Miliband, the next election would be "no contest"

Ed Miliband has been warned that Labour will not win next May’s general election unless he spells out detailed spending cuts to win the trust of voters on the economy.

The SNP's rise means Labour must look for seats in the south
The party must appeal to a broad coalition of classes and constituencies
Patrick Diamond
To have a hope of outright victory in 2015, Labour has to significantly improve its position in the southern and midlands’ marginals.
There is an even greater urgency today: after the Scottish referendum, Labour cannot rely on increasing its share of parliamentary seats in the so-called ‘northern and Celtic heartlands.’
The party has little room for manoeuvre: it urgently needs to lock in its support while enlarging its electoral base.
More obvious shite here:

Manuel,
Do you mean because I am second born, that I shouldn't have competed with my brother.
Or none of my daughters should compete with one another. They are all about 50 and are in various ways still doing so.
You seem to be back in the Old Bible.
The brothers were brought up to compete and both accepted the result and got on with the result.
There may be a place of David back in full UK politics at a later date!

But is a diversion from the knife in the back of the factions within the "tory" party.
Have heard Dave and George are making their own coffins!

As Somerset faces new floods, we're set to pay £600m for Third World flood defences... Tory MPs' fury at new aid giveaway
David Cameron to offer more financial help to flood-prone countries
Water has already been seen rising again on the Somerset Levels
Area was submerged in water earlier this year after failure to dredge rivers
MPs said sending money abroad 'did not send out the right message'
By Jason Groves for the Daily Mail

Britain is to hand over an expected £600million more to fight global warming in the Third World including cash to build sea and flood defences.
Angry MPs said last night that voters would not understand why money is being sent overseas when not enough has been done to shore up flood defences here.
Earlier this year homes and fields in Somerset were flooded following the Environment Agency’s decision to stop dredging rivers. Days ago pictures emerged of water rising again on the Somerset Levels.

They should get on their bikes and move.
I don't see why individuals living of the plains of the Thames should had their welfare and comfort paid for out of my bloody taxes.
If they want to build houses there they should put in the drainage systems at the time of build and the individuals who bought older houses should have known about the problem and put aside capital for their bloody insurances and maintenance, rather than sponging of the bloody state.
