Sterling fancy Dan , no end product , Kane very poor . Yes and Wales did it without much from Bale and Ramsey who I thought were average .

Agree about Bale but Ramsey was OK. Bale saving himself for you lot cos ur back 4 are bloody awful.

And if I hear one more time about how well you played and all the 'positives' you can take from the game I'm going to get a hernia from laughing. What's positive about conceding a soft goal in last minute because of soft defending ? Or , only being able to score one goal after playing your best football for years ?

Kane looks knackered , give Vardey a chance or even that Rash kid. Looked good going forward as you did in the friendly v Germany but defending your a disaster.

We draw Thursday and we're through and your looking at last chance saloon.

"Not even the close attention of Wales rugby legend Shane Williams could spark him into life as the rest of Wales' fans sang the anthem for the first time at a major championship.

When you've waited all your life for something, it's easy to let the excitement get the better of you.

And that appears to have been the case for this Wales supporter who apparently fell asleep moments before Wales' historic Euro 2016 opening match against Slovakia.

Indeed, not even the close attention of Wales rugby legend Shane Williams could spark him into life as the rest of Wales' fans sang the anthem for the first time at a European Championship.

According to fans, Shane spotted the man sleeping during the anthems and headed over to see if there was anything he could do. Sadly, his efforts seemed to fail.

The retired rugby star grabbed the hair of this sleeping Welsh beauty while belting out the anthem but received no response.

Sadly, the fan slept through most of the match, missing Gareth Bale's stunning free-kick which marked a moment the nation had waited 58 years to see.

Fellow fan Huw Tomos-Griffiths said: "The guy didn't wake up until the end of the match and when I showed him the picture he couldn't believe it!"

Still, you sense he had already enjoyed one of the best weekends of his life".

And as reported from New Zealand's tvnz.co.nz

This is how to behave: Wales fans at Euro 2016 form guard of honour for newlyweds

"Video shows a group of Wales fans in Bordeaux form a guard of honour as a pair of French newlyweds walk down a street at the weekend.
The jolly Welsh fans, decked in their national colour red, heartily applaud the bride, wearing traditional white, and her groom.
The couple then posed for a photo with the group as they headed to have their official wedding photos taken, walesonline reports".

Yep - fair play to the welsh and northern irish fans - albeit I still maintain its a small minority of English that take part

The rumour seems to be its those northern monkeys ruining our name

Chris Carson - 13 Jun 2016 10:03 - 5057 of 6918

That's shite Joe, southern dickheads who can't take their ale, casuals still living in the seventies. But I do agree it is a small minority :0)

Dil - 14 Jun 2016 00:33 - 5058 of 6918

That's all it takes.

And in all fairness Joe your lot along with Spurs , West Ham and Millwall fans aren't exactly angels so blaming the north is a bit rich :)

VICTIM - 15 Jun 2016 15:06 - 5065 of 6918

I'll stick my neck out on this but i'd say the Slovaks winning is better for Wales than England . England must go for win V Wales .

Martini - 15 Jun 2016 23:08 - 5066 of 6918

Much as I love my sport and supporting England in any competition Watching the brain dead "small" group of English supporters causing trouble in Lille tonight I hope we get kicked out. Even if they don't the Welsh can help do the job tomorrow.

Dil - 16 Jun 2016 00:40 - 5067 of 6918

There are brain deads amongst our lot too Martini but for the first time since the 60's Cardiff and Swansea fans are respecting each other and even joining up with England if threatened by Russians.

Russians are living in the 80's but this tournament could be a defining moment for UK fans and the final chapter in the bad old days.

Good luck tomorrow mate , whoever wins it our job is to dump those Russian tw*ts out of the tournament by beating them on Monday.

From the BBC : (Vince is head of Cardiff City Supporters Club too)

Euro 2016: 'No threat' of Wales-England fan violence
15 June 2016 Last updated at 13:34 BST
The potential for violence between Wales and England football supporters has "disappeared with the threat from Russians", according to a fans' group spokesman.
Vince Alm, of the Football Supporters' Federation Cymru, is in Lille ahead of the teams' meeting in nearby Lens on Thursday.
Fears have been raised as Russia and Slovakia fans are also there ahead of their match in the city on Wednesday.
Mr Alm said that Welsh and English fans had been "drinking through the night", singing and "partying together".
He said there has been "no issues", adding: "The potential for a flashpoint disappeared with the threat from the Russians."
Max Evans reports.

It seems it is only a small group causing some disturbance......problem is they drink themselves daft....no tickets probably for the game.....no money or very little...nowhere to stay....at home perhaps no job....it becomes a social problem, but from what I can see : it's no worse than Dutch or German football matches that go on all season...even France now and again has a little trouble from rival clubs.......still they are a pain in the neck when they are keeping everybody awake at night in Lille center....
