cashcaptain - 09 May 2007 13:23

ANYONE KNOW WHY THE ROYAL BANK OF SCOTLAND IS SHOWING A SHARE PRICE AROUND THE 6.59 MARK WHEN IT WAS 18.00 OR SO THE OTHER WEEK OR AM I GOING STRANGE?????????????

mitzy - 27 Oct 2008 09:51 - 508 of 676

well I reckon it could fall 30% from here.

geordieguy - 27 Oct 2008 10:40 - 509 of 676

thats nothing as its fallen 660p from last year

mitzy - 27 Oct 2008 16:27 - 510 of 676

failed to hold on to its days gains its a traders share not for investors will be 42p this week .

Problem is the Dow could go to 6500 or less and the Ftse to 2700 in the next 12 /18 months.

Mitzy : Bold predictions indeed ! Not quite sure how you arrive at theses figures, but have a good idea. Trust that you will return to this board on Friday to accept the accolades....or otherwise admit that you are a total prat.

mitzy - 28 Oct 2008 15:04 - 512 of 676

I am a prat yes indeed annie.lol.

mitzy - 11 Nov 2008 15:53 - 513 of 676

Big falls today but RBS is holding steady.

cynic - 11 Nov 2008 16:02 - 514 of 676

the fall is not that much less than with the other clearers ..... it's just because the base price is already so low

spitfire43 - 11 Nov 2008 18:54 - 515 of 676

With price at 57.5p who is going to take up the offer at 65.5p.

I brought in at 197p, not one of my brightest ideas, but will try and find a trading range to trade my way out of position. 45p to 65p may be possible?

55p now this will fall further to 30p ish in the coming months.

mitzy - 13 Nov 2008 11:07 - 518 of 676

A new low today.

spitfire43 - 13 Nov 2008 18:29 - 519 of 676

So if I take up the offer at 65.5p I can make an instant loss of 21%, sounds like a no brainer to me.

mitzy - 14 Nov 2008 15:00 - 520 of 676

another new intra-day low today.

I fully expected this to drop before the fund raising. Happens with stocks all the time.

The point being is the Gov is committed (or perhaps they should be) to 65p. I wouldn't think they could adjust it and as such as long as it goes ahead at the end of the mnth, then the sp will bounce back to 65p. There is probably a good trading opportunity in the next couple of weeks if you're brave enough!

skinny - 14 Nov 2008 16:13 - 522 of 676

Struggling to stay above 50p.

mitzy - 14 Nov 2008 16:50 - 523 of 676

In the 40's next week if this weeks anything to go by.

Fred1new - 14 Nov 2008 18:24 - 524 of 676

Anybody know the final date for uptake of offer? Literature from my booky doesn't state it, only the date that they want more money by.

Tempting to buy in the market

mitzy - 14 Nov 2008 19:26 - 525 of 676

Cant help you there Fred..

pericles - 14 Nov 2008 20:07 - 526 of 676

Cant help you either Fred, but it may be worth you and any others tempted by the low price to know that Bruce Packard, whose forcaste of 0p price for Bradford & B caused indignation at the time i think, is now forcasting RBS to go to 18p!!! this from todays Times (markets Business)

mitzy - 16 Nov 2008 16:03 - 527 of 676

Its getting predictable now with the sp falling every day I cant see them lasting much longer...and even 18p is too high.
