Thought I'd start a new thread as this is going to be a major talking point this year...have not made up my mind yet...(unlike bucksfizz)....but thinking of voting for an exit as Europe is not doing Britain any good at all it seems....

I don't know about fred, but I think we should keep them in the luxury
they've become accustomed too, and if they don't want to work, then under
their human rights they should be allowed to claim the benefits that's on offer
in the countries of their choice.

As a UK taxpayer i'm sure fred would be of the same opinion?...

What a numpty you are Fred, we are the 5th biggest economy in the world, of course there will be difficult times ahead but with the no nonsense approach that TM is adopting at home ie ''Brexit means Brexit'' and ''There will not be a second referendum'' she is showing that she will honour the will of the people.

Yes she will have to bat cleverly when talks with the EU begin, but she knows the EU have a lot to lose, and so do they.

It's highly likely that other member states will also ''Leave'' in due course.

Like the Brexiters did for 40years when they moaned away for the last referendum.

I was content with a Common Market, (which I voted for) it was when the EU with the help of various UK governments obtained greater and greater controls over our everyday lives that people started to kick against it.

Theresa May is to open talks on landmark new free trade deal with Australia, as she declares Britain will lead the world in global commerce outside the European Union.

The Prime Minister will meet her Australian counterpart, Malcolm Turnbull, at the G20 summit in China on Monday to shape the broad outline of what would be Britain’s first new trade pact after Brexit.

She is expected to explore further trade opportunities in talks with Barack Obama and the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the two-day gathering of world leaders.



Mrs May’s efforts to make Britain a “great trading nation” received a further boost with news that Australia, New Zealand and Canada will lend the government their own expert trade negotiators.
