FOOD buffs are in for a gastronomical treat when a 3 million food hall opens next week. The former Royal Oak pub will not only boast the best locally grown produce, but also a bar and a restaurant.

Historic pub re-opens after revamp - Aug 31 2007

A POPULAR Birmingham city centre pub was re-opening today following a major refurbishment. Birmingham-based pub company Mitchells & Butlers was opening the doors The Old Contemptibles at midday.

We will havd go get a bigger venue if we carry on growing at this rate. Couldn't quite count how many. Believe it was 7 next time 10.

The Bartons Arms welcome all size bookigs on any day of the week. We can cater for small or very large parties as we have two large function rooms for hire.

The Function Suite:
It is an ideal room for social occasions such as weddings, private parties, business lunches, dinners or even a promotional launch for a new project. The Function Suite can seat up to 70 people for a sit-down meal or 80 for a light buffet.
The room is also available for conference meetings.

The Boardroom:
This room is ideal for smaller meetings, private dinners and conferences, with seating for up to 22 delegates
