Rain again ?

Played 4 rounds at east sussex national . What a great pair of courses there . Testing holes with good and quick greens . If your looking for a good meal out , try Phish in uckfield .

Played in the rain on sunday , and due to play wed and fri , both forcasts are for rain . What a great summer !

bit humid Sunday, but not a drop of rain.
have a Geriatrics Cup round to play tomorrow morning ...... hope rain holds off until lunchtime, but seemingly we have a flood warning for tomorrow evening

Managed to birdie the 18th at Carnoustie a few weeks ago while playing in Scotland. I didnt fair to well on quite a few of the other holes, not really a links player, the wind destroys my shots.

Back from La-manga , last bit of sunshine for me this year . The greens there must have been between 11 and 13 on the s/m , 3 putted lots of times but a good weeks golf .

my tragedy is staying 4/5 days just 150 yards from 1st at Creek (Dubai) and not even having time to hit a few practice shots!

A lot warmer there cynic ? is Dubia still like a building site !

not quite as bad as it was, though staying down at The Creek means you are only 10/15 minutes from the airport (though no aircraft noise) and all the traffic probs avoided ...... as usual in Dubai, the hotel and its amenities and staff are great; and so is the golf course i believe

when i go there again in a few weeks (no chance of golf yet again!), i shall have to stay at the Jumeirah end, so shall report back

I played night golf while in Dubai last time - an entire flood lit course, with no grass in between tee box and green. A very entertaining course.

i know the one .... it's by or on the race course ..... i played there several years ago and forgot my glasses so had all sorts of interesting probs

Finished the season 0.1 higher than the start , i will have more time to play next year .
