I think that the time to get back into either of these 2 companies is when we get the news on the court case even though the case is not really make or break for either.

BUT it causes investor uncertainty as you can see by the charts.

bosley - 24 Apr 2004 16:30 - 52 of 27111

well said, sir.

SEO is on the move.
LONDON (AFX) - Shares in Stanelco edged higher after news that the company
is to buy Aquasol Limited for a maximum 3.1 mln stg, subject to achievement of
certain performance criteria.
Aquasol is the world leader in water-soluble packaging innovation, products
and processes.
It currently has a turnover of around 400,000 stg of which a significant and
growing portion is in the form of royalties

im itching to get back in . but i cant shake off this feeling of doom over the court case.wish i could feel more confidant but im going to wait until the uncertainty is lifted. good luck and best wishes to those in seo.see you after the hearing.

CORRECTION Stanelco buys Aquasol
Commenting on the acquisition, Ian Balchin, chief executive of Stanelco,
said: ""We are delighted to welcome Aquasol into the Stanelco Group of companies.
We believe that our combined technologies and customer relationships will offer
an exciting opportunity for customers to become more eco-friendly whilst at the
same time significantly improving operating margins. We are making good progress
under our existing agreement and will report more on this in due course.""

; LONDON (AFX) - Stanelco PLC, the RF (radio frequency) applications group,
has applied for a process patent on behalf of its wholly owned subsidiary Adept
Polymers Ltd.
This follows the development of a new range of low cost biodegradable
materials that can be processed like conventional thermoplastics.

bosley, never been a holder, but am with your sentiments. Where/when is the hearing - can one turn up (in a suit?) anyone know - it would be good to hear this one from the horses' mouths, as it were. Can't understand the BPRG link with Mr Tdy - something that could be said to be untidy if nothing else. Furthermore I'm not all that convinced that BPRG are all they might seem....all looks fishy to me along with a whole RNS devoted to Directors oiling their backs with options, but I could be wrong....

bosley - 15 Jun 2004 15:12 - 58 of 27111

hi hang on. im still watching and waiting for news. there has been good developements as far as seo are concerned. they are moving along nicley as a company and pieces of the jigsaw they are making are fitting together. i still think this is a good company with prospects . my only concern is this case with bprg . would like to it over , done and dusted one way or the other. once that uncertainty is gone then i will make my decision. like you , i dont think bprg are all they are cracked up to be. the what if scenario i am thinkng is , what if seo win ? where does that leave bprg ? if bprg win , seo has other products to sell and develope, but to me bprg come over like a one trick pony.

AdieH - 15 Jun 2004 15:51 - 59 of 27111

You are wrong they have at least five patents, check the company out to establish the facts..

Bosley
Any news on this stock yet

bosley - 06 Aug 2004 08:57 - 61 of 27111

check bprg thread . looks like they lost the case . waiting to see what effect this has.

angi - 06 Aug 2004 16:00 - 62 of 27111

I thought the case wasn't until September?

bosley - 06 Aug 2004 16:41 - 63 of 27111

the ruling is in september , but according to someone on the bprg thread, seo,s case was weak. thats what he said , im waiting for the ruling.

bosley - 24 Sep 2004 12:05 - 64 of 27111

i just couldnt wait for the court case to be settled. there are too many other very good things going for this company and i dont think the ruling whichever way it goes is going to affect the price that much . just to update , big write up shares mag a few weekas ago . tipped as a buy , lots of potential which we all know about . and today it begins.

Grampian Country Food Group to trial Stanelco's Tray-Lidding Technology

Stanelco PLC, the RF (radio frequency) applications group, is pleased to
announce that Grampian Country Food Group (Grampian) has agreed to trial
Stanelco's RF sealing technology for use in tray-lidding machines in its food
packaging operations.

Grampian is one of the UK's largest food companies, (
www.gcfg.com),
and subject
to the success of the trial Grampian will enter into commercial discussions with
Stanelco for the introduction of the technology across the whole Group.

Ian Balchin, CEO, of Stanelco commented:

We are very pleased to be supplying our RF Sealing Technology to Grampian for
this trial. There is considerable excitement across the packaging industry about
the new opportunities that Stanelco's technology is creating. We look forward to
a successful test process and subsequently a long ongoing relationship with
Grampian into the future.

this is what i think will make seo the company it can be . this is the start , next it could be a supermarket .........

bosley - 25 Sep 2004 12:32 - 65 of 27111

nice little mention in the express today about the rise and the deal with grampian . would imagine there will be more of the same in other papers and also in the sundays.

andysmith - 25 Sep 2004 21:53 - 66 of 27111

Bosley,

Question is whether to top up now or wait until the court case. Not that is should affect long-term prospects but if they lose no doubt there will be some bailing going on and you'll get more for your dosh.
I think this company is going to be a flyer, working in the packaging industry as I do I can see why the excitement.
