Hi again,

THURSDAY 27TH JANUARY

It has been decided to have another bowling evening as a get
together for the new year, so guys AND gals (well it would
be nice to have a greater female turn out...please) so put
Thursday 27th January in your diaries (that's 3 weeks today).
We are meeting at the Spectrum Bowling Alley at Parkway, Guildford
in Surrey, from around 7.30 to bowl at 8.30-9.00 ish. I do need to
have some idea of numbers though to book the lanes so please either
post here or email direct so i can let you all know who's coming.
This is open to anyone even if you dont want to bowl, just come to
watch and have a chat. Hope to hear from all the regulars......and
just hope Peter hasnt had time to practice!!!!

OK I've had enough replies now so Thursday it is, will start a new thread later. Beautiful snow drenched garden with the sun out now....glorious! Not quite like Iceland but i can try and improvise with the camera! Hey I wonder if Reykjavik has a bowling alley, maybe we should move the next meeting a bit further afield........

It doesn't but would recommend a trip to iceland its fantastic, the blue lagoon is very pretty in the snow... If you go do the trip up the glacicer to do the husky ride...

Is that in the dark??? My photographer friend has been and done an exhibition on it and the photos are fantastic....mind you he back-packed for 2 weeks and camped!!!!! that's why i didnt go this time, so guess i missed out but feel a trip with slightly more comfort may be more my style :>)........so one day - waiting for the right person to go with!

We were in the lagoon about midday but the light goes very early in Iceland, fantastic location, we got some nice pics too, sitting in the lagoon drinking champagne and it was snowing...
