Fancy the poor Mrs having to scrabble for some extra cash at a car boot's sale! Bet you haven't even told her about Stanelco!

bos, Paul
I think its helpful to have a repeat of professional opinions that address potential concerns exploited by those who wish to overplay the risk aspects. That's the reason why I tend to come back to the key issues. The BPRG litigation is clearly a dead-duck; it could quack back into some sort of life but is really insignificant to SEO as it is today - only impact is that the InGel project has been prioritised downwards; it may be good that management are not being distracted by that opportunity.

Competition is the most significant issue affecting the run length that SEO get at the market and the life of the royalties ensuing from sales. SEO are tackling this by having filed for patents which will prevent / delay competition entry. It is also clear that none of the potential competitors has the necessary base skills to make any impact in the near term. SEO have stated that they will take pricing action where necessary to prevent competition taking hold. But the real answer is in their strategy for rolling the product out with selected partners that will optimise speed of market penetration. Its like that war game we use to play when I was young, before most of your times(!), where they hold the key territories and the key pieces. So don't under-estimate the SEO potential - that's the main danger as one's own position could then not be sufficiently overweight.

So whither the sp. Chart is begining to suggest a channel between 25p and 28.5p. Two steps of a second leg to 30p have been taken, plus a brief intra-day
jimup to over 30p. So reasonable to expect some sideways movement in a narrowing channel for a while. Could break out with more rumour but that would be of a frothy nature with the sp settling back. I believe ASDA to be in the price plus some volume from the US. What could really break the price N is the nature of a US deal. This comes back to the fundamentals and the discussion re gradient of volume growth. My conclusion is that, whilst ASDA is in the sp, it also provides support, probably around 25p. Wal-Mart, or other major US deals, are not in the sp if it leads to an upgrade of forecasts from the relatively cautious ones on the table at the moment.

I have told her, but I only said I had 150 shares.
She is getting a bit suspicious, I keep sending of for Jag, Ferrari and Merk brochures.

andysmith - 30 May 2005 22:27 - 5106 of 27111

Well, I see we can't resist slating each other. Opposite opinions are OK as long as they are not bollocks repeated over and over again.
I was an idiot with SEO at 4-6p according to BPRG followers and then from others as it rose to 10p and again to 16p and 20p and now 25p. Hmmm, its good fun being an idiot knowing nowt about investing/SEO/Packaging!!!
Only two idiots squelched by me, ii and a bloke called Haystack. Been watching EVS and Haystack just keeps posting negative comment all the time which does not help the thread, there were over 300posts in two days with about 4 worth reading and this bloody thread is going the same way. II has turned up on EVS and you guessed it, he types a load of shite on there as well, expert in RF and now telephony!! He hates EVS, Best buy signal that I've seen!!!!

Chaps & Chapesses

Off topic, but keep an eye on Asia Energy (AEN). Not a ramp, based on recent news and specualtion. (Cambrain Mining by association)

Eric Hi,

Excellent post :)

Keep up the good work !

Anyone fancy an RNS or two this week ?, maybe one for the completion of the Layered Salad trials, maybe some more conversions ordered, maybe something on USA for either Greenseal or Frogpack ?

Cheers,
PM

EWRobson - 30 May 2005 23:25 - 5110 of 27111

Yeah, Paul. Tell 'em we get bored and fractious if there is no news. A positive RNS a day keeps Don Quihote away - or does it give more windmills to bash!

Eric

EWRobson - 30 May 2005 23:50 - 5111 of 27111

A certain windmill basher has been conjecturing about competition. 'What if' he says, that competition are using all the uncalled for publicity from Stanelco to rush ahead with their own products and might be ready for the market in six months. Doesn't live in the real world with real product life cycles. First pre-requisite is that the company has a team with appropiate skills or brings them together; secondly there is a research and development cycle for which 2 years seems ambitious; perhaps that then gets the competitor to where SEO was a year ago; then they will have to surmount the patents submitted and, by the time they get there, approved. So why the frustrations with other supermarket chains that they have to wait a year if someone else is in the wings?

It must be obvious to any objective reader that the post is at best speculative at more likely just seeking to spread uncertainty. It is very difficult to see the point of such posts unless it is part of a deliberate strategy of misinformation, such as supporting in some way the BPRG case against SEO.

Of course, in general, it is good to have competition. But the openness of the trials process has brought wide public knowledge to Greenseal that our packaging people have confirmed. The key factor for the sp now that the product is proven and beginning to roll out is the speed of market penetration. That speed will be constrained primarily by factors related to SEOs ability to perform with their partners. Our DQ friend is living in a fictitious world of the past. I am encouraged by the SEO strategy.

morning all. hope you all had a relaxing weekend. time for work.

wa157te - 31 May 2005 08:06 - 5113 of 27111

This share is the pits!!! Why waste time on it?!!! Get yourself over to a REAL share ....which is???

Alexander Mining.

About which, What can I say? Well I really must say that in my humble opinion this share is being greatly undervalued. It could quite easily turn into one of the best value shares of the year. Matt Sutcliffe was instrumental behind the recent rights issue for Regal Petroleum and managed to secure a whopping 390 pence per share. Yet the share price is now under 1. If that isn't top-drawer skill then I'm a Dutchman! If he can do that for another company -what must he be able to do henceforth for his own company?!!! The potential for mining copper in South America is vast and I'm certainly backing this company to go forward and make it into the big league.

andysmith - 31 May 2005 08:18 - 5114 of 27111

Ignore this idiot wa157te, if you need to know why see the IDS thread which I started and he decided to bash that the other day. Moron Alert!!!

jimmy b - 31 May 2005 08:29 - 5115 of 27111

Ok then glad you brought that to my attention wa157te i'll sell .. What a NUTTER.

bosley - 31 May 2005 08:41 - 5116 of 27111

is there a sign on the door saying "tits welcome!"?

bosley - 31 May 2005 08:45 - 5117 of 27111

can't think of any reason for the drop so far today , apart from lack of news. i think it's pretty clear that there needs to be follow up news and quickly.

hewittalan6 - 31 May 2005 08:50 - 5118 of 27111

might be because the tit-in-chief hasn't bashed us yet today!

treikiman - 31 May 2005 08:56 - 5119 of 27111

morning all ...thanks for thr e-mail Driver it was much appreciated. we seem to be getting more tits than Jordan on here....perhaps the 157 stands for S...

Chiva20 - 31 May 2005 08:56 - 5120 of 27111

Agreed Bos, I expected another drift without an RNS. We are demanding of SEO aren't we? Don't think it'll be long though.

Wa157te - what a bizarre post. It always amazes me how little intelligence people like this credit others. Do they honestly think we're all going to stampede into Alexander mining now? Tsk rampers eh?

wa157te - 31 May 2005 08:56 - 5121 of 27111

No -it is because people are not as daft as you seem to think they are. You cannot talk up a share anymore. It has to be able to stand on its own two feet -so to speak. It is not a good share in my opinion and I feel the drop in price merely reflects that.

bosley - 31 May 2005 09:00 - 5122 of 27111

wa157te, you mean the drop in price from 4p to 25p? or do you mean the drop in price of axm , which you tipped at 39p and is now 21p?
