"Galleon Entertainment, the UK-based intellectual property owner, developer and manager, is taking its multi-platform entertainment property Apollo's Pad to this month's television trade event MipTV 2007 in Cannes, France.

The aim is to sign up regional partners for online, mobile and TV broadcast deals


The all-new multi-platform property set for launch online, on mobile platforms and on air later this year has gone into production. The comedy animation series uses breakthrough animation technology to revitalise everyone's favourite songs in a way that can be broadcast through online and mobile platforms as well as through traditional channels such as TV. "Galleon Entertainment had signed an exclusive agreement with Sony BMG Music Entertainment (UK) at Mipcom 2006 to develop and launch Apollo's Pad. Galleon Holdings plc is delighted to announce on behalf of its Product IP
Division that, further to the successful roll out in 2006 of its wholly owned
toy IP "Blasterz," Pepsico has committed to a further order for the product in
two additional territories.

An initial commission has been received covering the materials and associated
manufacturing costs for 35 million units of "Blasterz", a collectible active
play toy. The balance of the order, expected to total Euro700,000, is likely to be
paid within three weeks.

Such is the success of the product in market that the Company is confident of
multiple recurring orders and in particular a further roll out of the product to
the substantial markets of Asia and Latin America.

Galleon's Product IP Division alone has recorded sales over the last 12 months
in excess of #3.2 million.

New deals for Skunk Fu!

NEWS BRIEF: After being the fifth most watched new show at Mipcom Junior last October, children's animated series Skunk Fu! has been sold to broadcasters in France, Italy and Norway.

New deals with France 5, Raisat and NRK add to previous acquisitions by Cartoon Network Asia, CBBC, Super RTL in Germany, TG4 Ireland, SVT Sweden, S4C in Wales and RTBF in BElgium. The new sales were inked by Cake Distribution. Skunk Fu! (52x12') is a Cartoon Saloon, Telegael and Hoek Line & Thinker coproduction for TG4.

i echo drivers sentiments, you see, you are not alone, even though you might think so when posting, at least 2 others do read you, maybe many others.
your loyalty and belief in the company deserves rich reward, alas it doesnt always happen as it should in the markets, but if this can get above 20p and hold , i reckon it may double up from there, for starters, and then who knows where to?

I do like this thread it's nice and quiet,a place to reflect and take stock :-)

I don't think I have had much loyalty or belief to be honest especially in the early years but they do appear to be going somewhere this year......which is a first-lol

I only set up this thread to practice posting pictures and generally ramble on to myself!

Anyways,if all goes to plan we should see a rise up to 18p over the next few months and take off in the summer..........or be taken off :-)

Galleon's IP unit receives major sales orders

LONDON (ShareCast) - Intellectual property group Galleon said its entertainment IP division has received pre-sale orders for its comedy adventure series Sokator-442 from major TV broadcasters in Germany and Australia.

It is also in advanced discussions with a number of other buyers in key territories, it said in today's trading update.

Galleon's IP division said it is in negotiations in China and India over sales of its music animation property, Apollo's Pad, and has sold its Skunk Fu! show to France, Denmark, and Italy as well as Cartoon Network Asia.

Galleon chief executive Stephen Green said, "We are going to MIPTV 2007 with our strongest and most advanced portfolio of intellectual property in the company's history. We are going to this market with two highly sought after properties that have attracted the attention of top tier broadcasters and record labels from the key continents."
