Israeli Gaza conflict?????? (GAZA)

Fred1new - 06 Jan 2009 19:21

Will this increase or decrease the likelihood of terrorist actions in America, Europe and the rest of the world?

If you were a member of a family murdered in this conflict, would you be seeking revenge?

Should Tzipi Livni and Ehud Olmert, be tried for war crimes if or when this conflict comes to an end?

What will the price of oil be in 4 weeks time?

Read it, cynic. Super book.
Wouldn't parrot be devasted if one of his ancestors was an immigrant LOL
Alien blood running through him LOL

cynic - 02 Jun 2011 14:03 - 5128 of 6906

inevitably immigrants in one form or another ...... a very good chance that he has jewish ancestry along the line too

yuff - 02 Jun 2011 14:07 - 5129 of 6906

ITLOB--can someone please tell Hay that Tesco was started by Jewish immigrants many many years ago.

Surely now he will vist Aldi and costcutter instead??

What a ridiculous point made about the potatoes.

What he does not know and what I do know is that the fertilizers used for the growing of Jersey's is imported from Israel-hope you enjoyed your salad haystack.

yuff - 02 Jun 2011 14:07 - 5130 of 6906

TANKER-well said.

In The Land of the B - 02 Jun 2011 14:15 - 5131 of 6906

hey yuff,
Too late for parrot to vomit it up. Nutrients have been ingested and absorbed. He is tainted for life. Only one solution, parrot.
Since most food and drink might have some connection in raw materials, production, wholesaling, retailing with some Israeli or Jew somewhere, even if only a Jewish shelf stacker in Lidl, a truck driver, someone at air traffic control, whatever, the parrot will have to create a new form of shaheed; someone who starves themselves to death.
Go for it, parrot !

Haystack - 02 Jun 2011 14:17 - 5132 of 6906

I do have Irish ancestry and possibly Jewish as well. Tesco was indeed started by Mr Cohen. I met him a number of times when I worked there as a consultant in the 1970s. He was a very nice man. Regarding the possible Israeli fertilizer, it matters very little. It is not possible to stop all Israeli trade, but a significant and growing dent is being made into it. It is not about Jews or Jewishness as ITLOTB would have you believe. It is about Israel and its government and the ultra right wing influences on it and its appaling behaviour.

There are two choices in life for you, parrot.
Take the tablets or get laid.

Haystack - 02 Jun 2011 14:22 - 5134 of 6906

Actually I have just taken a Paracetemol, but my wife is out shopping. I'll tell her your suggestions when she gets back.

yuff - 02 Jun 2011 14:38 - 5135 of 6906

Hay LOL!

In The Land of the B - 02 Jun 2011 14:55 - 5136 of 6906

I'll tell you already.
Mrs Hayes will say take another 150 Paracetamol.

In The Land of the B - 02 Jun 2011 14:55 - 5137 of 6906

Check the potatoes carefully. She might be trying to poison you with Jewish germs.

Haystack - 02 Jun 2011 15:58 - 5138 of 6906

Most of the potatoes we eat are from our garden with fertilizer produced in UK. We do have some Jewish friends who eat here as well as a few Arabs and sometimes at the same time. I grew up and went to school in the biggest orthodox Jewish area in Europe.

In The Land of the B - 02 Jun 2011 16:07 - 5139 of 6906

Yeah yeah yeah we know, "some of my best friends are Jewish"
Typical bigot talking when cornered

Haystack - 02 Jun 2011 16:14 - 5140 of 6906

Not some of my best friends are Jewish, but most of them are. Also about 90% of all my son's friends are Jewish as almost every boy in his class is Jewish. But as I have mentioned before, the behaviour of the rogue state of Israel has nothing to do with Jews living there.

In The Land of the B - 02 Jun 2011 16:16 - 5141 of 6906

Yeah, yeah, yeah
Methinks the lady protesteth too much.

Powerful Video FROM AN ISRAELI GENERALS SON

Miko Peled is a peace activist who dares to say in public what others still choose to deny. Born in Jerusalem in 1961 into a well known Zionist family, his grandfather, Dr. Avraham Katsnelson was a Zionist leader and signer of the Israeli Declaration of Independence. His Father, Matti Peled, was a young officer in the war of 1948 and a general in the war of 1967 when Israel conquered the West Bank, Gaza, Golan Heights and Sinai.
Miko's unlikely opinions reflect his father's legacy. General Peled was a war hero turned peacemaker.
Miko grew up in Jerusalem, a multi-ethnic city, but had to leave Israel before he made his first Palestinian friend, the result of his participation in a dialogue group in California. He was 39.
On September 4, 1997 the beloved Smadar, 13, the daughter of Miko's sister Nurit and her husband Rami Elhanan was killed in a suicide attack.
Peled insists that Israel/Palestine is one statethe separation wall notwithstanding, massive investment in infrastructure, towns and highways that bisect and connect settlements on the West Bank, have destroyed the possibility for a viable Palestinian state. The result, Peled says is that Israelis and Palestinians are governed by the same government but live under different sets of laws.
At the heart of Peled's conclusion lies the realization that Israelis and Palestinians can live in peace as equals in their shared homeland.
