What a flat boring day; would be nice to get some news tomorrow when everyone is back from the Bank Hol. weekend. That would make sense rather posting to a vaccuum today.

Evening all
Pretty solid day for the SP today and what appears to be a nice 1 million buy after close of play. Must say I am quite pleased to see a consolidation at this level after the volatility of previous weeks. Would be nice if SEO could push along and release the next set of news, this only needs a nudge now and it will race along.

Not a bad day. Support level tested early on and found to be effective. Not sure whether we need any more UK need: ASDA deal is in place and the exclusivity period started; ASDA will be even more keen that SEO to make that period count and their suppliers on board. The next key RNS should therefore be the US. If that's a really good deal it will take some time to put in place so reasonably content to let that take some time. Meanwhile the bulls and bears will be shooting it out with trading likely to be in the current channel between 25p and 28.5p. MMs happy to bouce the sp up and down to encourage trading.

Kroger's
http://www.kroger.com/aboutourcompany.htm
Operations Overview
Food stores are our primary business and account for approximately 95% of total company sales. Our convenience and jewelry stores and manufacturing facilities contribute the remainder of total sales. The information below is current as of January 29, 2005.
We operate 2,532 grocery retail stores in 32 states under nearly two dozen banners. Our formats include supermarkets, price-impact warehouse stores, and multi-department stores, which are similar to supercenters, but offer an expanded variety of national brand appeal and general merchandise.
We hold the #1 or #2 position in 40 of our 52 major markets. A major market for Kroger is one with 9 or more Kroger stores.
Kroger also operates 795 convenience stores under six banners in 16 states. Our C-stores provide valuable synergies for the rapid expansion of our supermarket fuel centers.
436 fine jewelry stores under names like Fred Meyer Jewelers, Littman Jewelers, Barclay Jewelers, and Fox's Jewelers. This is a high-margin business with good cash flow.
Kroger is the only major U.S. supermarket company to operate an economical three-tier distribution system.
Kroger also operates 42 food processing or manufacturing facilities producing high quality private-label products that provide value for customers and enhanced margins for Kroger. We manufacture more than 3,500 food and non-food products in our 42 manufacturing plants.
Kroger operates 536 supermarket fuel centers, which are a natural addition to our one-stop-shopping strategy.
Kroger's 1,898 pharmacies, located in our combination food and drug stores, provide high quality services at everyday low prices.
Looking good to me :)
Cheers,

Hi All,
For those interested in bprg, a new LemmingInvestor.com note is out.
It tears yesterdays RNS to pieces, claiming it asks more questions than it answers, and to expect a lively AGM
As far as paying huge sums for a patent dispute, that we are told they don't actually need, this bit is a gem "Rather worryingly, the company said it had identified issues relating to some of the commercial agreements entered into by the Company as well as the appropriateness of BioProgress' financial and structural arrangements. "
Cheers,

No-one has explained the selling yet. Lots of baloney but no explanations at all. My feeling is that people are selling because of bad rumours and also because others are selling. Stanelco doesn't seem the best of places to keep your money at the moment. Maybe another time.

Karen,
What selling ???? .... what bad rumours ???? .... no evidence I see !!!! .... I think you have the wrong board, you should be on bprg !!!!
Where are the FACTS that you base your supposed opinion on ????
My opinion is that Stanelco is a very good place to have your money right now, and for the next 3-5 years.
The facts that I base my opinion on are :-
ASDA deal signed and commecialised
ASDA 1 year exclusivity is ticking away, and suppliers will be converting ASAP, so that ASDA can have at least 6 months to advertise the benefits that their competitiors do not have.
Stanelco have already announced that they have opened a new USA office, and two alliances, to spearhead a fast rollout of Greenseal in the USA, Canada and Mexico.
Stanelco have also announced they are in talks with SIX of the biggest USA retailers, and others.
Howard White hopes to see Greenseal fitted to at least 25,000 machines within 3 years, a number worth recurring revenue of 752,000,000, nearly 1 per share EPS !!!!
Frogpack also being 'aggressively' target marketed in USA and Canada, and as EVO say, "a deal within weeks if not months" !!!!
If you are a bprg basher, over here from advfn and you spout drivel, you will get nowhere.
