THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Tony Bliar's award from Save The Children charity, no doubt voted for by the top 20 in management who are syphoning off over £100.000 each in salaries, including £234,000 for the top honcho(ess).
More a case of Save Our Salaries charity, like so many others.

Stan, sorry about that, it must have been buried amongst the dross on here and I missed it, however knowing posters (including me) have memory lapses from time to time I thought it warranted repeating.

The local bus station here in Northampton is a monstrosity ("two upside down skips"). At the top of it is a 155,000 sq ft office space that no one wanted to work in.

Anyhow, 'they' have decided to demolish it with controlled explosions in March 2015 - so that should be fun to watch. Except it is right in the middle of town so at that time you won't be able to get anywhere near or get a good view.

In the meantime, some photographer professional had the bright idea of using a drone and taking an overhead video clip. The two areas which look 'green' were gardens and these have now been emptied and removed:

Stan, gun nutter land, as you call it has got little to do with right wing or left wing politics.

Stan - 26 Nov 2014 11:15 - 51317 of 81564

Read again DB, it has everything to do with Right Wing politics, that is what I said.

If you don't want that then don't vote for it.

http://order-order.com/2014/11/26/thornberry-having-big-effect-on-labour-doorstep/

Labour are spinning hard that this week’s polls showing the party up to five points ahead prove the Thornberry saga has not cut through to the public. That’s not what one slightly more honest Labour MP told Guido last night:

“It’s had a big effect. I was knocking on doors this weekend and people were telling me, “I’m not going to vote for you. Ed Miliband doesn’t care about the working classes and the Labour Party don’t care about the working classes.” That’s Thornberry.”

Stan - 26 Nov 2014 13:11 - 51326 of 81564

H/S you are getting more desperate by the day.

2517GEORGE - 26 Nov 2014 13:12 - 51327 of 81564

10-0 to Cameron, easy pickings, if Milibland can't win an argument with Myleene, what chance against DC.
