ASOS: BUY AT LOW PRICE!!!! (ASC)

wilco99 - 12 Sep 2003 15:52

ASOS have dropped quite significantly in the past week for no particular reason and I view this as the perfect opportunity to invest as I can see them bouncing right back up to the 5.50p mark in the next 2-3 weeks. STRONG BUY!!

Just don't be in this...unless shorting....

cynic - 08 Apr 2014 08:26 - 5163 of 5941

too scary to do anything, and I always call it wrong anyway

Wow this fall is fenomenal, this is going to be bottom big time, please go to 4100 :-)

tomasz - 08 Apr 2014 08:56 - 5166 of 5941

I dont use these death crosses, these are lagging indicators and when they appear the market is already made a move, you can see that the death happened at breaking structure at some 6300 area.

skinny - 08 Apr 2014 08:58 - 5167 of 5941

Two death crosses - similar to RSL atm.

ptholden - 08 Apr 2014 09:16 - 5168 of 5941

Reacting to a death cross or a golden cross when it happens is generally too late to initiate a position in the direction of the trend. However, price action tends to revisit the MAs before resuming the original fall / rise. If There is a DC then I'd expect a DCB to somewhere in the region of £50, although as all this will take some time to unfold that target could be some way off. Anyway all dependent on a DC in the first place.

No idea what mr gibberish is on about, no death cross at. £63

Shortie - 08 Apr 2014 09:32 - 5169 of 5941

£32.50 is my target

tomasz - 08 Apr 2014 10:12 - 5170 of 5941

and this is it... irrelevance after irrelevance...

tomasz - 08 Apr 2014 10:25 - 5171 of 5941

all these dc's, dcb's bonkers lagging stuff are meaningless. If I use them I wouldn't make even a 1/10 of I made here.you have to work harder on structure read. lagging stuff will get you nowhere.
-----
well I do assume that with that knowledge you are nowhere.

Just don't buy it...my only regret is not shorting it myself...ridiculous buying clothes online....nothing would fit...always having to send stuff back....what you can do is try a branded mark in a store and then buy cheaper online....but then look at value of this company....very successful...very well run but...still way overvalued...

Shortie - 08 Apr 2014 10:47 - 5173 of 5941

What you have to realise is that ASOS was trading at an extreme PE, not a problem if your able to increase your earnings year on year and grow vigorously. Profits however came in down 22% despite a sales boost... This shows that organic growth has dried up and it now needs to spend money to facilitate sales elsewhere.. The spending of money lowers the bottom line, decreases earnings and as such means PE either has to rise or SP has to fall to maintain the current PE...

tomasz - 08 Apr 2014 11:12 - 5174 of 5941

and again waste of space...someone who read shortie or whatever with no name -looking very knowledgeable thanks to just clever-looking-words would think oh yea...this one knows what is all about.
Like I said before the level of relevance of these posts here is meaningless.
anyway, profit is down because investment in China which will cost next 3 years before return and currency run up in Australia, Russia, and getting hubs in germany, usa, shanghai ready and quick. all facts well known from q1. you just need get statement read..

profit is down because investment in China which will cost next 3 years before return and currency run up in Australia, Russia, and getting hubs in germany, usa, shanghai ready and quick. = The spending of money lowers the bottom line.

tomasz - 08 Apr 2014 12:55 - 5176 of 5941

no. what I said doesn't equal your thesis of spending money and bottom line and stock market price. that equal something else. you can obviously apply yours, its fine with me. trees doesn't grow to the sky.

Shortie - 08 Apr 2014 13:20 - 5177 of 5941

You can dress it up however you like, I've been shorting and the SP has been falling... I don't normally bother to post here as I like idiots like you who want to buy the stock, it helps shorters like me make even more money!!

And yes, trees do grow to the sky, they grow upwards towards it where the light is... Maybe this is your problem, you think trees grow underground!!

tomasz - 08 Apr 2014 16:59 - 5178 of 5941

if someone is dumb that's fine with me, not all is reformable.
anyway, fantastic day, fantastic close, ive been waiting for that long plunge with that sort of day on the end for long time. the future looks tasty to me.:)

ptholden - 08 Apr 2014 18:06 - 5179 of 5941

Yeah right, more fantasy trading, gambling, investing. No intelligible positions of which you've ever posted. Cynic is right, filtered.
