Pre-tax losses have also nearly halved from 6.4 mln to a loss of 3.4 mln on cost cutting. They have also had a successful fund raising.
Also chart indicators show that it may be time for the next leg upwards past recent resistance at 7.5p. and please remember you are responsible for the timing of your own buying and selling actions.

A bit of a damp squid at the end. Buys and sells closely matched. MMs seemed happy with that as the price remained stable for most of the day. It's perhaps too close to Xmas to get much more action.

So a poor day for idd, considering the first motion was passed through. If it had been passed with a bigger majority and less whinging things would have been a lot better today!
I think next year will be a very volatile time for them,in that the national id scheme will govern the share price rather than the work they already undertake!Don't get me wrong I hope they do well, been holding for at least a year, but the media coverage on id cards will dictate the share price for good or bad..imho
reading it back....a bit obvious really-lol

Don't think christmas has much to do with it,if a good bet is on the cards people will buy and not sell.Maybe the small trader(like myself) would sell, and maybe get in later with more positive news?Like i was saying this time yesterday it's still a long haul for idd to get anything poitive from the id card scheme but imho it's still worth a gamble. What they need is a contract for however much a part,if any, that they will play in the scheme, then things will change for better or worse!!!

Yesterday not all the sell were sells and also some of the unknown transactions were buys, but putting that aside this share will liven up after the christmas period. Wait for the end of January and you will all see a different picture.

The one fact that really matters is that IDD is in a growth industry that is well illustrated by their Interims posted on 2nd December 2004
Banking and financial sector sales up 135% helped by two major contract wins
Retail card sales up 154%, helped by loyalty and gift cards
Card industry now showing very strong demand across all sectors

From the Chief Executive's Review
ID Data sees major growth opportunities in its financial services business:
.....the smart-card industry is experiencing increased demand as banks introduce smart cards for Chip and PIN, retailers seek efficiencies, telecom companies expand and governments, influenced by geopolitical trends, focus on security and identity controls.
The benefits of these contracts will start to flow through in the second
half of this year:
"Since winning two significant orders in the period from two of the world's
largest issuers of financial cards, ID Data has seen the successful introduction
of this business and enhanced systems to ensure their exacting standards are
met."

Is there anyway of confirming the late 1m quantity trade at 13:06 is a Sell? i.e. is there anyway it could be a Buy.

some heavy buying again. something is brewing and some already know. been in these for ages, almost forgot I had em. We should see some substantial movement especially if the rumours of Id cards becomes true.
