Please report bugs and enhancements (BUGS)

andy.lovell - 04 Nov 2002 11:26

If you're having any problems, or want to suggest some improvements, please post below!

Level2 changes
In the last few weeks we've needed to implement some code changes to make us compliant with the LSE's rules on the access of Level2 data.

The following requirement is now in place:
You can only use 1 program on 1 computer to access Level2 on MoneyAM using a single username.

This means that you are able to view as many Level2 windows using any one particular browser, or program, that you wish, however you will not be able to use both Firefox and Internet Explorer at the same time (the same goes for using Quote Tracker or TradeSeeker at the same time as viewing it using a web browser)

If you find you're being logged off of MoneyAM's Level2 with the message 'you've logged on from another location' then check the above and make sure you're not running any other programs at the same time before reporting this as a bug.

dell,

Unfortnuately, with the SEAQ stocks, the outage we had makes any movement during that period of time un recoverable. So therfore, it will be a case of waiting for them to change there quote for an update.

I apologise for the inconvenience that this will cause you.

We are unfortunately having some technical issues, you should now be able to see stoockwatch, but we are working on clearing the old data out.

We will be restarting level 2 and I will let you know when that has been done.

Still cannot get stockwatch.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 07 Sep 2006 07:11 - 5198 of 7315

tvc,

Can you tell me what you see when you go to the stockwatch page?

Ian

tvc15 - 07 Sep 2006 07:12 - 5199 of 7315

Just the greyish screen, telling you try logging out if problems with streaming.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 07 Sep 2006 07:14 - 5200 of 7315

tvc,

If you are just getting a grey screen, it would seem that your machine is struggling to download the applet. Can you try resarting your browsers first of all, and if that doesn't work then please restart your machine to see if that clears the issue.

Ian

tvc15 - 07 Sep 2006 07:16 - 5201 of 7315

IanT(MoneyAM) - 07 Sep 2006 07:36 - 5203 of 7315

Level 2 should now be connected, there is an issue with missing orders due to a failed reset overnight. We are looking into this.

Apologies for the inconvenience.

Regards

IanT(MoneyAM) - 07 Sep 2006 08:25 - 5206 of 7315

Di,

Sounds like for some reason your machine is struggling to download the applet for level 2. can you close down all your browsers and then tray again. If this does not work, please restart your machine and this should clear the problem for you.

Ian,

I have not been able to get am website for the past two hours similar to RUPIE on traders thread....all other sites have been working fine just am which just stopped working and then all I could get was 'website unavailable' and a white screen. I expected your site to have been down for the past two hours and yet I see loads of people have been posting!
Puzzled
Di

Are you on BT Di? I had the same problem and rang in to see if it was my machine or the Moneyam site. . I was told the problem seemed to be only with those using BT.
