ITIS is emerging as a leader in the supply of satellite navigation data in the information technology industry. They have come up with a new system of gathering real time and historical data called Estimotion. Profits for next year are forecast at 1.6 million but this is without the roll out of this new technology. Cash 6 million. ITIS report they are in a period of high growth.
Estimotion is an Israeli company ITIS purchased for $5m and combines real time and historic data to guide drivers through their satellite navigation systems to their destination avoiding traffic jams and giving the quickest route. They are also able to supply data to other systems including hand held satellite navigation and have contracts with Alpine, Clarion, Kenwood,
Panasonic, Pioneer and Siemens.
There stolen vehicle tracker NavTrak is the best selling in Europe and is fitted to 100,000 vehicles world wide. It has many other functions and further details can be found on the NavTrak web site.
ITIS have 13 three year contracts with major car manufacturers to supply RDS_TMC and combine their data gathering with the AA.
Further announcements are on the way and they also hope to win international contracts with both RDS_TMC and Estimotion. They are in talks with four governments.
Recently they came first in a comparison test with other companies run by the Sunday Times and there have been several write ups in Shares Mag including mention of the global market ITIS is aimed at.
Mobile phone companies will be interested in this one.
Well worth further investigation with announcements on Estimotion and foreign RDS_TMC contracts soon.

Positive comment from UK-A, remnant shorters looking badly stressed after this. Note especially: "the future looks very good indeed."
Solid numbers and a positive outlook were the perfect recipe for success, as investors bought shares in ITIS Holdings 3.5p higher to 44.5p. The traffic information and in-car navigation group unveiled figures for the year to March, showing losses had narrowed to 1.35 million pounds from 6.22 million pounds a year earlier. Net losses of 1.21 million pounds were recorded as sales shot ahead 44% to 10.2 million pounds. Prospects for the current year appear to be excellent with profitability very much on the cards following a profitable second half. ITIS generated its first ever profit of 340,000 pounds in the six-month period to March 31st. Meanwhile 16 vehicle manufacturers now offer the company's navigation products as standard. With car giants queuing up to adopt ITIS systems, the future looks very good indeed. New contracts signed in the second half included DaimlerChrysler, Land Rover, Mini, Mitsubishi, Porsche, Renault, Vauxhall and Volvo:

I can't believe that there hasn't been more activity on here recently. The ITH sp is on a magnificent run (bar Wednesday's profit-taking) and was a Shares Mag Play of the Week last week. It's putting Trafficmaster firmly in its place and will go on to bigger and better things. Storming.

First steps into the US - Excellent news!!
ITIS Holdings PLC
05 September 2005
Monday 5th September 2005
Missouri Department Of Transportation commences exclusive negotiations with ITIS
to deploy CFVDTM statewide
ITIS Holdings plc ('ITIS') is pleased to announce that following a competitive
and extensive tendering process, it has been invited by the Missouri Department
of Transportation ('MoDOT') to enter into contract negotiations on an exclusive
basis to deploy its Cellular Floating Vehicle Data (CFVDTM) technology
throughout the State of Missouri. The contract will include the cities of St
Louis and Kansas City and cover at least 5,400 miles of inter-urban and urban
roadway. By comparison, our deployment in Baltimore covers around 1000 miles.
ITIS bid for this contract with its US partner Delcan-NET who, in accordance
with our agreement, will be the lead contractor in this strategically important
multi-year deal. Competition for this tender came from leading transportation
consultancies and other providers of cellular traffic probe technologies. We
anticipate that the CFVDTM system will be deployed within six months of the
contract being awarded. At that time the data will be integrated immediately
with the relevant Traffic Management Centers in the state.
This is the first major competitive tender issued by a state for such a traffic
system and we believe that our success will encourage other states to look
favourably at the ITIS and Delcan-NET offering.
Once the formal contract has been signed ITIS will issue a further announcement
outlining the financial and terms details.
Stuart Marks, Chief Executive of ITIS Holdings plc said 'This landmark deal is a
major endorsement for our CFVDTM technology and our relationship with Delcan-
NET, a combination of which has beaten strong and credible competition in this
market. ITIS operates the largest deployment of Floating Vehicle Data traffic
technologies anywhere in the world with over 22,000 miles covered before the
inclusion of the Missouri roadway network.
With our deployment in Baltimore and Delcan-NET's extensive knowledge of the DOT
market we are confident in our ability to capitalise further on the significant
market for CFVD traffic information in the USA'

The Luck one & Paulo2 - Welcome to ITIS! I had thought that I was on my own with this little gem but it's good to see others finally taking note. This is a cracking company in a growing market with an excellent product. Not even Trafficmaster's attempts to derail them last year worked and I feel the 1 header is not far from reality.
