Morning all.
After the "damp squib" accusation in the Guardian I believe the company will hold back on announcing anything which is not substantial.I read an opinion somewhere that the company is not legally obliged to issue an rns each time a machine is signed up. Seems logical. The waiting gets a bit nerve-racking though.

Tesco Price Leadership Waning - Lehman
0611 GMT [Dow Jones] Lehman Brothers notes food retail pricing survey shows Tesco's (TSCO.LN) price leadership has been reduced to a "whisker" by Wal-Mart Asda (WMT) as heavy price investments reduce absolute basket premium by 40 bp to 1.1%.
My Comments
It appears ASDA are going all out to reduce the market gap between tesco and themselves. They have also slashed prices of top-selling CD albums. They charge 7.47p online price. The more ASDA push Tesco ,you can gaurantee Tesco will be fighting to keep the lions share of the market, ie 12 months time guess who they will be signing contracts with,re cheaper packaging/better product/enhancing sales.
Answers on a postcard please.

Hi All,
Well as I was saying :)
UK sells AM, USA buys them all PM, we have a lot of support in the good 'ol US of A(minus ii that is !)
Nice to finish level at the close, and if UK investors are taking note of the daily price movement, and the MM buys today(900,000 shares in all), I feel we will finish up tomorrow and friday, heading back to 28p maybe more, also people often buy with the hope of weekend press leaks, and/or a Monday RNS.
Cheers,
PM

some movement up , not hopeful of 30p now, will take profit and go short @28p bid, price is held up by mm`s and dogged supporters with appreciation of the efficacious product, but little knowledge of business.

I have no prob. with the product, producing a brilliant product - at a huge loss subsidised by share holders-is sadly part of the British disease. The small-cap market has been littered with such for years, TWT,WMG,YMG,(and not only the small caps viz.MONI etc.), the product is all, it isn`t, a good salesman can sell sand to Arabs (and actually have done).
The UK is too keen on schlepping business until they eventually give up and go abroad, or sell out.
It is no coincidence that G.Brown is the biggest leftie in the cabinet, and ensures jobs for his public service union boys-mainly unionised.
The left hates business unless publicly controlled, only the most ruthless bending of their stupid rules ensures success- not sure if this co. have the balls to do that,
anyway i`m long for a while.
ps I remember `efficacious` from `The Scaffold` tune Lilly The Pink- she invented medicinal compound , most efficacious in every way.

what a fantastic BB this is everyone should buy a few shares as an educational experience, I learn about "S" curves, words like `efficacious` and of course, not even in my dictionary, 'schlepping'.
