Please report bugs and enhancements (BUGS)

andy.lovell - 04 Nov 2002 11:26

If you're having any problems, or want to suggest some improvements, please post below!

Level2 changes
In the last few weeks we've needed to implement some code changes to make us compliant with the LSE's rules on the access of Level2 data.

The following requirement is now in place:
You can only use 1 program on 1 computer to access Level2 on MoneyAM using a single username.

This means that you are able to view as many Level2 windows using any one particular browser, or program, that you wish, however you will not be able to use both Firefox and Internet Explorer at the same time (the same goes for using Quote Tracker or TradeSeeker at the same time as viewing it using a web browser)

If you find you're being logged off of MoneyAM's Level2 with the message 'you've logged on from another location' then check the above and make sure you're not running any other programs at the same time before reporting this as a bug.

Digger,

I have a fix for that, I need to put it in. Will do as soon as I can!

Digger,

We have a fix from our feed supplier, but to put it in place I need to restart all our feed processes. If I do this during the trading day, we will lose trade information, so I will be putting it in place tonight.

J.

Kayak - 21 Jan 2003 09:36 - 524 of 7315

That's a worrying statement. If you restart the feeds don't you replay the trading day in the same way as ADVFN?

Chaspebble - 21 Jan 2003 09:59 - 525 of 7315

News still causing some problems? GET reckons there is news today on the Stockwatch page (there isn't any new news). The news from yesterday (their notice of results) comes up a good half a dozen times.

TullettJ (MoneyAM) - 21 Jan 2003 11:37 - 526 of 7315

Kayak,

No, not worrying at all. There will be duplicate trade databases running by launch.

Our systems work in a very different way to ADVFN, so replaying the trading day will not be necessary.

Chaspebble,
It is due to the work I did last night, should sort itself out tonight!

I've still got the Sue [space] 42 problem - the 42 doesn't come up on login - you need to get it fixed before launch I suggest

TullettJ (MoneyAM) - 21 Jan 2003 12:34 - 528 of 7315

Sue 42,

As posted on another thread, this fix will be in place on the next drop. (before launch!)

another one (apologies if already known) - but if you search for a keyword in a title - it returns the thread & says "last post" - but it gives the date as the date of the first post not the last post.

Pugugly - 21 Jan 2003 16:30 - 530 of 7315

Still grey screen on stockwatch page - Any suggestions - site NOT useful if all you get is a grey screen.

Any suggestions?

TullettJ (MoneyAM) - 21 Jan 2003 16:32 - 531 of 7315

Pugugly,

Are you behind any firewalls?

Mr Ashley James - 21 Jan 2003 16:34 - 532 of 7315

TulettJ,

There is still a conflict between Hiscox Plc HSX and Hang Seng Index.

I can not get an HSX quote on AM.

Cheers

Ash

scussy - 21 Jan 2003 16:42 - 534 of 7315

will these charts be live and streaming in the future, and will it be better then lycos,is there beta testers on the INDU chart,

steve

FelixMoneyAM - 21 Jan 2003 17:10 - 535 of 7315

Thanks very much for spotting this. I had the wrong dataset for INDU.
Now corrected, with data going back to 1990.
Will look at the Surface Transforms etc conflicts.

Small point, have just been looking at the Shares mag page, then instead of having the tab for the newly named Traders Room it says Bulletin Boards. Consistency :-)

Also, small point of grammar.

Are we talking one trader = TRADER'S ROOM

or lots of traders = TRADERS' ROOM

Sorry, but the misplaced apostrophe is a bugbear of mine!!!

stable - 22 Jan 2003 08:33 - 537 of 7315

Notices on stockwatch are remaining two days after being issued (csy)

The Other Kevin - 22 Jan 2003 08:55 - 538 of 7315

Tried to access news link from the Home Page but was told I needed to upgrade my subscription. Started this process but was then asked for credit card details with various subscription options before being told what the charges are for the various levels. When are you announcing subscription levels - or have I missed it?

Kayak - 22 Jan 2003 08:58 - 539 of 7315

On the subscription levels, "premier monthly" and "premium monthly" looks like an error to me, should the second by "premier annually" perhaps?

Tradesman - 22 Jan 2003 09:08 - 540 of 7315

still when i log on stockwatch for the first time , ie crashes 9 actually disapperas) and a file is deposited on my desktop.

TullettJ (MoneyAM) - 22 Jan 2003 09:17 - 541 of 7315
