Please report bugs and enhancements (BUGS)

andy.lovell - 04 Nov 2002 11:26

If you're having any problems, or want to suggest some improvements, please post below!

Level2 changes
In the last few weeks we've needed to implement some code changes to make us compliant with the LSE's rules on the access of Level2 data.

The following requirement is now in place:
You can only use 1 program on 1 computer to access Level2 on MoneyAM using a single username.

This means that you are able to view as many Level2 windows using any one particular browser, or program, that you wish, however you will not be able to use both Firefox and Internet Explorer at the same time (the same goes for using Quote Tracker or TradeSeeker at the same time as viewing it using a web browser)

If you find you're being logged off of MoneyAM's Level2 with the message 'you've logged on from another location' then check the above and make sure you're not running any other programs at the same time before reporting this as a bug.

Try a QUOTE for DDD. You will see that the price has not changed, but the intra day chart is showing a fall.

haystack,

I will take a look,

Ian

Haystack,

The change is taken against the previous days close, this allows for any gap ups or downs to be shown correctly. Therefore if you had looked at the chart just after open it would have been up 0.25, it has now returned to last nights close so is showing as no change, even though it has dropped off since open.

Yes. You are right. The trouble is that I expected to see a reference line based on last nights close as on other systems. That would show the whole picture.

Haysstack,

Good point, I will speak to James our chart developer to take a look into this.

Hello,

Apologises for the outage just then, we're aware of what caused it and are isolating the culprit.

I can't log out of Moneyam on Mozilla Firefox. I'm logged in all the time. Can anyone suggest how I can log out. It's essential because when I'm abroad I use just IE, and I know that I can't be logged in from 2 different suppliers if I want to use Level 2.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 02 Oct 2006 14:26 - 5233 of 7315

Maggot,

As a test I have logged you out here, so you should be forced to log in if you go to the traders room for example.

When you clcik on Log Out on firefox, what happens? It sounds like that for some reason, your login cookie is being retained. I use both IE and Firefox, and have had no problems logging out with either of them.

Thans, Ian. I was, indeed, logged out when I restarted Firefox just now. I've not had trouble until the last few days. Will try to log out again now. If I still have trouble I'll have to get you to log me out and go in with IE. Then I'll have to get a man in to look at Firefox for me.

Maggot - 02 Oct 2006 14:39 - 5235 of 7315

IanT. Just tried it - logging out and back in - and it seems OK now. Possible trouble with my mouse, which seems to work better on some sites than others. Very strange.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 02 Oct 2006 14:41 - 5236 of 7315

Maggot,

Glad to here all seems fine - let me know if it happens again.
