Dylan who ? Wasn't he the spaced out rabbit on the Magic Roundabout so yeah he probably was from Swansea :-)

We played with no strikers last night v Blackburn and won 2-1. Blackburn centre half Shane Duffy is now our top (and only) scorer with two and to cap it all he got sent off in the last minute. He was given a standing ovation and left the pitch to chants of "Duffy is a Bluebird" and "Duffy , do the Ayatollah".

Everton boss Koeman confirms Lukaku is staying

Striker could pen new deal after committing his future to the Blues. Liverpool Echo.

Ronald Koeman has confirmed Romelu Lukaku has committed his future to Everton for the season.

And the Blues boss has not ruled out the possibility of the Belgian putting pen to paper on a new contract.

Koeman was quoted in a column in Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf this morning that Lukaku had informed him on Friday of his decision not to pursue a move away from Goodison during the transfer window, despite constant links with former club Chelsea.

And when asked to verify the comments shortly after Everton's 2-1 win at West Bromwich Albion, he said: “That is true.

“He spoke to me yesterday morning that he made a decision by himself to stay at least one more season at Everton. That was great news for everybody.

“It's possible (he signs his new contract).”

Lukaku began on the bench at The Hawthorns having missed last week's draw at home to Tottenham Hotspur with a heel injury.

But his introduction before half-time helped turn the game in the Blues favour as they came from behind to secure Koeman's first win as boss.

Explaining the decision to name Lukaku as substitute, Koeman added: “I'm not doubting the player's qualities. He was 10 days out with an injury.

“He did yesterday his second session, but I'm not so stupid to put him on the bench next week! There's no question.”

Winning start. Bournemouth going down to ten helped.

Banana skin match for England today.....anything could happen but somehow I reckon they might redeem themselves with a win.....

As this is the second meet ......you could say : "Play it again Sam !"...

Well done England....never gave up......I noticed that Joe Hart really kept his head throughout the game.....that's good as well.....the team is just lacking sudden acceleration from a slow moving pace at times, if they could add that to their play : would make a world of difference.....I see Scotland at the mo drawing 1-1...ouch if it remains like that.....

VICTIM - 05 Sep 2016 08:00 - 5246 of 6918

England looked too much like they played in the Euro's , expected better . Kane poor and Stirling ineffective again . Also seems the love affair with Rooney will continue , thought he might try something different Sam but like a rabbit in headlights .

OMG - he's been in charge for one game and the knives are out and the judgement has been reached

Fickle or what?

Give the man a chance

PS - I'm no fan of his btw - but the attitude here epitomises everything that is wrong with the modern supporter/individual - who wants it all, and wants it now

VICTIM - 07 Sep 2016 08:40 - 5248 of 6918

The knives are out , what pifle , a bit over dramatic aren't you , wants it now , they haven't won anything since 1966 , jeez .

Someone turn the Championship table back the right way for me , it's upside down.

Cheers

My home town team, Northampton Town, are getting ready to thrash Manchester United 6-4 tonight. I'm getting ready to watch it on the telly.

Actually, 1-0 would be utterly fantastic.

Here's a picture of the Man Utd players training in a local car park ahead of the game:

Come on Cobblers. You can do this!

HT: 1-1 (and the Cobblers have hit the bar too!)

ExecLine - 21 Sep 2016 21:44 - 5253 of 6918

FT: 1-3

Good effort. Two mistakes from the Cobbler's goalie didn't help much. Nevertheless we stood our ground well and put up a very good show.

Some of United's players need to put in some 'passing practice', IMHO, Rooney included.

And has Rooney now gone past his best? I think he has. Hmmm? Watch this space.

Having beaten Northampton last night in the EFL Cup match, United's October fixture list now looks like this:

October 2nd : Man Utd vs Stoke (PL)
October 17th : Liverpool vs Man Utd (PL)
October 20th : Man Utd vs Fenerbahce (EL)
October 23rd : Chelsea vs Man Utd (PL)
October 25th* : Man Utd vs Man City (EFL Cup)
October 29th : Man Utd vs Burnley (PL)

Tough stuff or wot?
