Please report bugs and enhancements (BUGS)

andy.lovell - 04 Nov 2002 11:26

If you're having any problems, or want to suggest some improvements, please post below!

Level2 changes
In the last few weeks we've needed to implement some code changes to make us compliant with the LSE's rules on the access of Level2 data.

The following requirement is now in place:
You can only use 1 program on 1 computer to access Level2 on MoneyAM using a single username.

This means that you are able to view as many Level2 windows using any one particular browser, or program, that you wish, however you will not be able to use both Firefox and Internet Explorer at the same time (the same goes for using Quote Tracker or TradeSeeker at the same time as viewing it using a web browser)

If you find you're being logged off of MoneyAM's Level2 with the message 'you've logged on from another location' then check the above and make sure you're not running any other programs at the same time before reporting this as a bug.

Ian

i've got yesterdays charts showing?

IanT(MoneyAM) - 13 Oct 2006 15:19 - 5257 of 7315

Alex,

I have just looked at they are operating fine and showing today. Is it an intraday chart you are looking at or a basic or custom chart?

can you check you do not have a date range selected and could you try refreshing the screen if you do not?

Ian - What are the chances of combined feeds for the LSE and Plus mkts, as watching absolutely nothing happening on stockwatch and then discovering later that our "friends" at Winterfloods etc. have been directing most of the trades via Plus is getting to be a right pain in the posterior?

Cheers,
dell

IanT(MoneyAM) - 19 Oct 2006 07:11 - 5259 of 7315

dell,

At the moment, we do not carry a feed for Plus markets, as far as I am aware we have no immediate plans to implement one, but as with everything, we will monitor it and this couold change at some point in the future.

Haystack - 20 Oct 2006 12:17 - 5260 of 7315

I am getting "cannot find server" when doing a search using the "Contributed to by:" feature.

The 'key words', 'epic code' and 'started by' searches all work.

MightyMicro - 21 Oct 2006 00:33 - 5261 of 7315

Haystack: I don't get that, I simply get nothing back on a search using the "Contributed to by:" feature -- if the user logon name contains upper case letters.

For example, Bullshare, Greystone, Kayak, Haystack, MightyMicro don't work, but chocolat and hilary do. Or is it gender specific?

I haven't done an exhaustive test, one for Jon, methinks.

Oi MM , been ranting on for months about bt.a chart and all I get is "we'll contact our data supplier".

Who do you get your data from and whats his phone number ... I'll ring him myself.

MightyMicro - 21 Oct 2006 00:58 - 5263 of 7315

Oi, Dil, it's because you're Welsh.

I didn't know about your BT.A chart, what's wrong with it? Going the wrong way for you?

Pond Life - 23 Oct 2006 16:03 - 5264 of 7315

Ian et al,
Help please. How do I make a web address into a hyperlink? What code do I need to use to make it a live link in a post?

Mega Bucks - 23 Oct 2006 18:11 - 5265 of 7315

Pond Life, just above the box that you are going to write in,there are 5 icon thingys, click on the 4 icon that looks like a bit of chain, and that will do it for you :-)

Kyoto - 26 Oct 2006 08:55 - 5267 of 7315

I can't get the Desktop Newswatch app to log in as it keeps telling me the password fails to authenticate. Not a firewall problem. Checked back through a thread and a similar problem was solved by a password reset - is this what I need?

IanT(MoneyAM) - 26 Oct 2006 08:56 - 5268 of 7315

Kyoto,

I will check it out at this end and get back to you.

Ian

IanT(MoneyAM) - 26 Oct 2006 09:00 - 5269 of 7315

Kyoto,

Just tried it here no problems - I am going to drop you an E mail to see if we can get you up and running.

Ian

MM .. bt 7 year chart , broke out around about 240p , right direction.

Got to be 3 months now since I mentioned it but it still aint fixed. Same scenario on other sites that use your data supplier ... as suggested previously give me their number and I'll get it sorted :-)

hewittalan6 - 02 Nov 2006 07:34 - 5273 of 7315

Ian,
We seem to have yesterdays Hi and Lo prices and opening prices still on the watch list.
