Galleon's IP unit receives major sales orders
Date: Friday 13 Apr 2007
LONDON (ShareCast) - Intellectual property group Galleon said its entertainment IP division has received pre-sale orders for its comedy adventure series Sokator-442 from major TV broadcasters in Germany and Australia.
It is also in advanced discussions with a number of other buyers in key territories, it said in today's trading update.
Galleon's IP division said it is in negotiations in China and India over sales of its music animation property, Apollo's Pad, and has sold its Skunk Fu! show to France, Denmark, and Italy as well as Cartoon Network Asia.
Galleon chief executive Stephen Green said, "We are going to MIPTV 2007 with our strongest and most advanced portfolio of intellectual property in the company's history. We are going to this market with two highly sought after properties that have attracted the attention of top tier broadcasters and record labels from the key continents."

The SP just wanted a quick look at where it came from today and hopefully it's seen enough to carry on upwards!
I think what is very important is the SP getting away from following the previous wave, which it was doing a very good job of copying!
This shows the Galleon has turned the corner as in bringing in increased revenue along with being involved with IP's that ARE going to be aired!

If those red and green lines pass through the grey line and all on an upward trend,I think that is then classed as a good sign.............charting wise!

Anyways,From MIPTV
"UK indies using the UK Indies Pavilion at MipTV will have a greater opportunity to showcase their programming at this years market, held in Cannes, April 16-20."
"So far 26 companies have confirmed their place on the pavilion for MipTV and between them will be showcasing a wide range of talent. The companies participating include Boomerang, Cake Entertainment,"
Cake Entertainment are the producers of Skunk Fu and the Galleon own 15% of it along with the world merchandising rights.....excluding Germany (for some reason-lol)

Re. Contract
Galleon is delighted to announce on behalf of its Product IP Division that, as
the global roll-out of its toy IP 'Blasterz' continues, PepsiCo has placed its
first re-order for a European territory. This follow-up order is valued at
approximately 300,000.
Galleon received its first order for 'Blasterz', a unique, patented toy premium,
in early 2006 and has since received multiple orders, totalling 4.3 million, as
its food and drinks clients have been rolling out the product into new
territories. Today's order represents the first such territory to run a second
promotion using this IP.
