THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

If it was last week, then why does it have Jan 24 and Jan 31. It is just an old document from at least a year ago and maybe even longer ago.

goldfinger - 10 Dec 2014 15:44 - 52638 of 81564

Any comment to make Cyners????? as I know you are really interested in the FOOD BANKS DEBATE.

Haystack - 10 Dec 2014 15:46 - 52639 of 81564

Food banks have grown because the Trussel Trust switched to a franchise model. The increase is in the numbers of food banks, not the actual use of each one.

goldfinger - 10 Dec 2014 15:46 - 52640 of 81564

Hays it was last week when the document landed in a certain persons hands.

Lets see if IDS can deny that is now policy. NO CHANCE.

Haystack - 10 Dec 2014 15:49 - 52641 of 81564

It is nothing to do with when it appeared. It is to do with how old it is. It may be from the last government.

goldfinger - 10 Dec 2014 15:51 - 52642 of 81564

Yes Hays yes Hays of course Hays.

Makes it all more interesting that IDS was in the chamber on monday saying he would look into the Churches findings on the link between sanctions and growing food bank use.

And he denied on monday targets existed.

CAUGHT RED HANDED HAYS.

The whole document should have been officialy shredded and placed in the official shredded bin , but was placed elsewhere.

Fred1new - 10 Dec 2014 15:51 - 52643 of 81564

Db4,

I keep on thinking as a person like Haze who would want to be reminded of the mother of all b.s and have an effigy of her somewhere, where you able to kowtow to frequently!

Haystack - 10 Dec 2014 15:53 - 52644 of 81564

Targets may not exist. That is a document a year old. Clutching at straws again.

goldfinger - 10 Dec 2014 15:53 - 52645 of 81564

All kicking off on Twitter now.

It appears the PM or IDS will have to front the house tomorrow to clarify things.

LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOLLOL LOL LOL

Haystack - 10 Dec 2014 15:54 - 52646 of 81564

Twitter is pretty irrelevant to real life.

goldfinger - 10 Dec 2014 15:55 - 52647 of 81564

CHEATS ALWAYS GET CAUGHT.

Will IDS be in a job tomorrow........I doubt it.

goldfinger - 10 Dec 2014 15:57 - 52648 of 81564

HAYS Twitter is a snap shot of life.

Nothing more nothing less.

What you can find on Twitter you can find on the streets of Britain anytime you want, and dopey Doodlebug owt to be able to see that.

Haystack - 10 Dec 2014 15:58 - 52649 of 81564

It is just the obsessed activists who are on twitter.

goldfinger - 10 Dec 2014 16:00 - 52650 of 81564

Yes Hays for once you are right thats why David Cameron, George Osbourne, IDS, Gauwke, Duncan Hague, Philip Harman have Twitter accounts.

Well pointed out Hays. Top Marks.

goldfinger - 10 Dec 2014 16:06 - 52653 of 81564

Cynic you mean you are selective in what you read but at the same time DEMAND replys from others on YOUR selected items posted here.

cynic - 10 Dec 2014 16:09 - 52654 of 81564

no, but it is quite rare that i read more than perhaps 5/10 posts a day on this thread as i know from experience that most posted here is more and more and more and more of the same old political tripe and polemic, with which i really cannot be bothered

Chris Carson - 10 Dec 2014 16:18 - 52655 of 81564

Gf - How are the polls today? If you believed half of the left wing tripe on here, shouldn't Labour be romping away. The clock is ticking. TICK TOCK!

Fred1new - 10 Dec 2014 16:22 - 52656 of 81564

A man of experience, but he doesn't read all the information.

He must have superior powers, or is just suffer from self delusions.

But, also, he seems to have some form of compulsion, to read the thread and then object to what he has only partially read.

A bit like Cameron and IDS.

Forgot many of the tories have the same problem!

Must be in their jeans.
