Blue is the colour

Football is the game!

Forget Chelsea

EVERTON is our name :0)

Having uplifted themselves with their performance against Man Utd earlier in the week, Northampton went on to emphatically beat Southend United 4-0 at the weekend.

Odds on a new England manager by xmas are crashing.

Sam's been a naughty boy according to the telegraph.

ExecLine - 27 Sep 2016 10:37 - 5273 of 6918

Yes. It does look as though it's going to be, "Bye Bye, Sam."

The chances , that he was just 'bragging' and 'shooting his mouth off' about all the stuff he knows, which is all very fascinating and interesting, are very low, IMHO.

Pity really. I did think he was going to be a very good and very successful England Manager.

Stan - 27 Sep 2016 20:10 - 5274 of 6918

He's gone.

Too much greed in British sport.......there are other examples :....some operate in the media today.....isn't it nice to see the sport gospel being preached ?.....whilst....having broken the rules ?....
Anyway...nothing to do do with the above : Have to feel a little sorry for Big Sam......but for the England job : you have to walk a straight line !......

dreamcatcher - 27 Sep 2016 20:22 - 5276 of 6918

He had to go.

Stan - 27 Sep 2016 20:39 - 5277 of 6918

C/D Talking to a West Ham fan the other day he reckons the bigger pitch is the problem.

Stan - 27 Sep 2016 20:40 - 5278 of 6918

Here's one for E/L https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qXMaMWOb2sY scored by an ex-Burnley player of course -):

ExecLine - 27 Sep 2016 23:06 - 5279 of 6918

Stan

Yes. Wow! I hadn't seen that.

One of the very best free kicks ever taken, eh?

Claret Dragon - 28 Sep 2016 09:15 - 5280 of 6918

Stan.

The pitch is bigger but if that's the issue change it to what you want within the laws. Bit lame really. Bottom line is players brought in are not that good.

Cant wait for Saturday. Boro.

Stan - 28 Sep 2016 13:09 - 5281 of 6918

E/L, It was a good-en wasn't it, scored a few when he was with us but his legs are no longer up to it at our level now sadly. Think you have got a very good signing there.

Stan - 28 Sep 2016 13:12 - 5282 of 6918

A draw please on Sat. to take a point out of the system. just in case we were to slip back down -):

Stan - 28 Sep 2016 21:08 - 5283 of 6918

Stan

You left out Bournemouth for H.

Dil - 29 Sep 2016 10:10 - 5287 of 6918

Cardiff being investigated on a technicality more than anything else over a transfer deal done with West Ham when Allardyce was in charge.

I'm thinking of asking them to investigate the standard of football we have to put up with at Cardiff cos it's shite.

Stan - 29 Sep 2016 18:58 - 5288 of 6918

Well spotted C/D.

Might be worth a try Dil.
