With MMS recently concluding deals in Tunisia it has estimated reserves and disused mines with a value in excess of $1billion.

The company is in discussions with JV partners that will bring in the capital to re-start mining quickly.

What value would you place on a company with value in the ground.

With a market cap. of under 4m this looks way too low and should fly with a JV in place.

The share is tightly held with a listed Canadian mining group owning 24%.

Positive news could see the SP multi-bag within days...

Not one for widows or orphans but a small stake could pay dividends in any portfolio.

Outlook

The Group's focus in the immediate future is on its Tunisian assets and in
particular on those most likely to be able to be converted into producing mines
in the near term.

Now that the important agreements on the two former mine concessions at Bou
Jabeur and Fej Lahdoum have been signed with the O.N.M in Tunisia together with
the acquisition of the fluorite permit at Zriba (Zaghouan), Maghreb is focussing
on the "advanced exploration" opportunities that these permits provide. This
will be followed in due course by exploration on its other permits including
Djebel Fej Lahdoum, Djebel Goraa, Lorbeus and Ouled Moussa.

The Group has been approached by, and opened discussions with, a number of
parties who have expressed interest in entering into varying commercial
relationships to exploit the different mining concessions and exploration
permits held by the Group.

yes,mms has been digging for a while now.lot of hard work behind them.so now its a time for predator to come along.24%stake not to far off.this is very good sign .mms must be sitting on nice minerals...let's hope we hear some pos news next week and see some success -risk in the price

Possibly, depending on when news is. Currently 3v5 on level 2. With a bit more selling we may see 4.75-5p on the offer, not sure if it will go as low as 4.38p mid.
I've emailed Jane Hywood again today, lets see what she says this time. Hopefully not another '2 weeks'...

New out. Looks very good, although a little more patience is required for the resource update, and scoping study which is being prepared in the 'immediate future'.

Just topped up with 10k at 4.5p.

I believe a scoping study is the first stage of planning for a mine, and is usually done only after a Measured resource catagory is attained. I think that tells us the quality of resource statement to expect in a few weeks time?

if the study and the update at end of june gives us more of a solid proof/numbers hopefully we'll see some of the success in the price

i've placed a limit buy for little top up. mms its looking v.good.
regarding rab cap disposal. rab is in need for cash they've been hit hard by CC

surprised to see sp go down this morning but been a tick up recently, probably due to volume

i look forward to the report at end of june. with current prices and demand for minerals mms should be valued highly.maybe new investors will help mms accelerate the progress

Aye. This is one to hold onto tight at this price level kuzemko. Its one of those rare stocks that has a huge reward/risk ratio. Priced like a basket case yet it has x * 100 * the current market cap worth of mineral resources and renowned investors James Passin has just taken a 25% stake. Day to day trading seems to be dictated by 100s worth of trades but if you are willing to hold tight just for another month, its possible to see multi-100% rewards here for a relatively minute downside from this beaten down level?

couple good buys today. charts-it filled in gaps. hopefully we'll see some movement upwards next week

i bought at 5.8p after a few days of big spike up thinking i got a decent sp.

now its under 4p even after todays news.....its less than 4 million this share, i dont understand why

Knocked down on a few k of sells after initially being marked up on the positive news. This will go back up on a few k of buys.

Looking to buy more myself but since got 75k yesterday will hold off for a while. Think its possible this may test the recent all-time low of ~3.5p and form a double-bottom in which case I will buy more whenever that occurs. I suspect James Passin (Firebird) will be looking to top-up (average down) his 24% holding if the price remains at these levels as well.
