Hi janet

That 18p target in last weeks papers has upset some people me I am just trading bank shares I like Barclays in particular I do not like Rbs but that is my decision...good luck what ever you do.

I never saw any target in any paper to be honest but I do know that most people on BB have their own agenda

Stay in better still get more at these low prices

dealerdear - 19 Nov 2008 07:53 - 540 of 676

I'm not sure what the Gov statement yeterday am meant.

Was it saying any future financial input into the banks will effectively be at a lower sp or was it saying it's agreed investment is being renegotiated at a lower price. If it's the latter whch is how I read it, why no press comment?

dealerdear - 19 Nov 2008 07:58 - 541 of 676

OK. Explained in the Independent this am. It means any future fund raising so I guess the sp is slipping because the market feels that may indeed happen.

This is a classic example of Boom and BUST. Wait for the big BANG!

Fred the Shred should be in court awaiting execution.

Is it true RBS have lost over 1bill in investments in the Madoff fraud..?

halifax - 15 Dec 2008 16:00 - 544 of 676

Did HSBC have $600m with Madoff funds?

halifax - 15 Dec 2008 17:10 - 545 of 676

Hsbc state exposure to Madoff funds $1 billion, how many other hedge funds are pyramid schemes?
