UK Oil & Gas said it had re-established oil production from a key oil well near Gatwick Airport.

Continuous dry oil production had resumed at the Horse Hill-1 well at a stable rate of between 208 to 218 barrels per day.

The restart of production formed a key part of a work schedule to finalise the Portland field development plan, and to the targeted establishment of permanent long-term Portland production, planned by end 2019.

208 to 218 barrels per day might keep your local garage supplied for a month or two

218 bbls p/d =approx 34cbm p/d. Well 1 tanker load p/d will be enough to be hitting the M25 . (Reckon likes of BP and Shell will be monitoring these events closely to defend their market share...)
