MELDEX. Double your money- quicktime. (MDX)

kitosdad - 12 Dec 2007 16:20

The engines have fired up at last for MDX. ( BPRG ) At long last they are being recognised for the force they will become over the next two years. On the cusp of disclosing huge revenue-earning deals with Global pharmacists. These have been hinted at as being unrolled before the years end, but may be in the next days. You still have time to get in at a bargain-basement price before the SP takes off for real shortly.

well labour gov has made uk into a shithole.....its made people angry...even aussies i worked with ALL said that brits had anger management problems. if u go abroad, a lot of countries know that brits r badly educated now as many cant even add up or do basic grammar.

no-one in power wants to make uk better.....as for topping oneself, depression pills r at an all time high in uk.....and we have highest murder rate in europe and shoplifting capital.....anything thats bad u can be sure that uk has it.

we have biggest exodus of graduates than any country in world.....plus 5 million brits have now left and in last 2 years more brits than ever are leaving with the influx of more rubbish coming here taking benefits etc.

scotinvestor - 02 Jul 2008 11:32 - 536 of 8631

its not just financial etc or policies in education that r wrong here....but blair and brown have changed people into i'm al right jack.....

tabasco - 02 Jul 2008 11:46 - 537 of 8631

The ones that shout loudest normally care mostthe ones that are all right Jack tend to protect their Apple Cart and swerve the issue.

Mdx buys to sells 2-1... SP still 3% down.Going to need three Hail Marys two miraclesHenry Kissinger. and BM offering 1 Billion to get the price up to 30p.

tabasco - 02 Jul 2008 13:09 - 544 of 8631

Scotty I thought that rumour was for this week death threats etc. Lets hope its soon. A 1p drop equates to a lot of baguettes.

scotinvestor - 02 Jul 2008 13:18 - 545 of 8631

at end of day, theres pulverisation of so many shares that mdx doesnt look too bad.....check out tw., bdev, psn, mab, all banks, m and s, jes its a bloodbath.....how much more can these shares take....supposed to be another 18 months of this.......i reckon all these housebuilders could fold up if they dont get bank funding

Big Al - 02 Jul 2008 14:04 - 546 of 8631

What did you mean?

Big Al - 02 Jul 2008 20:40 - 547 of 8631

?

hangon - 02 Jul 2008 21:32 - 548 of 8631

It looks pretty bad all-round (so a slide in MDX is hardly wotrth worrying about, unless it's yr largest investment, etc.).

What is really a worry (and not especially for ME, I mean for the country in general)....is the way this unfolds as scotinvestor suggested.

If Mortgages continue to be difficult, then Banks will have little profits ( and Commercial is down as well). Builders will be falling like flies....and their suppliers.
This Government appears bent on taxing us out of Recession ( an impossible aim), Company bosses will continue to raise their salaries at the same time dividends approach zero - so the share sell-off may continue.
-Remember the Dot-Com was specific in that it had destroyed extablished companies when D-C looked attractive...and then it destroyed D-C investors as the quick got out.....often the Directors who had plenty of stock given to them.

Share are never "low" - they can always get worse - look at Woolworths - 40p, then 24p, then 17p, then 12p and NOW ? . . . . 7p with no sign of a rise anytime yet.

MDX is probably the worst UK-company on the AIM-Market ( although I'm prepared to hear of others). As such it is surprisinig it's still in double-figures. However, there are many that believe it's a good business with great prospects (mainly overseas where we can't check), and if that is the case then today's price is a definate low.....but realistically with 2-years to go. MDX - Management needs to be a lot more supercharged. Sadly there are economic issues throughout the West that will impact on MDX plans, past and present.

The real worry (for me), is not the MDX-sp. It is the outcome of this 2-year issue, when it "turns" about mid-2010 . . . . just what opportunities will we have missed - - - and which (share) hopes will be Dashed?

I think it will be safe to stick to stocks that are Mainstream - those that are on the FTSE 250 should be OK, ignore others...perhaps a few AIM-stock that have regular profits and several years of Director experience. We should distrust Retail and Housebuilders. Banks are "probably OK" since the Government cannot allow on to fail, having seen the effect of NRK.

Any other views?

Meldex up on appointment of two (subsidery), former Direcors. DYOR
-Not sure this is an improvement....but it does mean there is some additional strength...ie more than previously - but at extra cost.

tabasco - 03 Jul 2008 10:16 - 552 of 8631

And Kylie Minogue as Chief Whip. everyones a winner! La carte des vins, sil vous plait

halifax - 03 Jul 2008 11:16 - 553 of 8631

The two new directors were owners of Melbrosin which BPRG took over in June 2007. They became substantial shareholders in MDX as a result, but are subject to a lock in agreement which expires at the end of 2008. Presumably they are less than impressed with the performance of the sp and wish to actively protect their position. I wonder if they voted against the directors remuneration package at the recent AGM? Will RT survive this change?

tabasco - 03 Jul 2008 11:38 - 554 of 8631

Sure ..So they will now remain substantial shareholdersWe are all less than impressed with the currant SPWe also want our position protectedand RT will now survive. Whats the big deal. SP up 23%... not a bad start... And buys me a lot more baguettes.
