Dinosaurs, I quite like them, can't eat a whole one though!

optomistic - 24 Apr 2004 21:44 - 5374 of 23498

Great Wedding loads of good food etc. Nice bridesmaids Little Willie, but gave up that age group some while ago. Nice setting for the event on the outskirts of York it was a shame that the Hotel seemed to be charging ''150% VAT'' on the drinks, which probably made it a slightly healthier day for most!!
Have a hot chocolate GD please and then an early night.

This_is_me - 24 Apr 2004 22:10 - 5375 of 23498

So ghosty is (was) a bisexual.

jeffmack - 25 Apr 2004 08:46 - 5376 of 23498

The sun has got his hat on, hip hip hip hoorah

stockbunny - 25 Apr 2004 08:54 - 5377 of 23498

Ah another one who can't sleep in on a Sunday!!!
Morning Jeffius Mackius!!
So what's on your agenda today????

((See someone has sussed out my bunny digging habits, glad you
removed those concrete posts Opto, sick of bashing my head on them,
at least with metal spikes, I can pick them up on radar!))

Started the battle with the hedge yesterday, round two today,
I'd like to think I'm winning but there's still a lot of it left to
cut!!!

Danish with tea please......(Poochy if that ghost is female, I'm
seriously worried!!)

jeffmack - 25 Apr 2004 08:57 - 5378 of 23498

bunny
I'm just going to mooch around the garden while the wife is out at work.

stockbunny - 25 Apr 2004 09:10 - 5379 of 23498

Sounds a good idea - certainly better than my on-going
war with the hedge!!! Enjoy your mooching!

little willie - 25 Apr 2004 09:54 - 5380 of 23498

Morning all from a sun smashed Winelands. Hit Franschoek last night [The French Connection] nice eatery now the tourists have gone.

Today we've a golf tourno. followed by a dinner so think a cuppa is all I'll have.
Now officially in winter so mrs.lw has to have her porridge with dark sugar.
Nowt so queer as folk, the fact that we'll have 30 degrees means nothing, its winter so its porridge!

Enjoy your mooch Jeffers, you ought to try whittling???

Bunnywunny, why not 'hedge' your bets and invite a chippendale around to do yours for you? You never know his name might be Warren [in the buffet] or Brer!

Socrates - 25 Apr 2004 13:31 - 5381 of 23498

Today Socco has been to a boot fair where I bought no boots. I've also been to an antique fair where I bought no antiques. This doesn't seem fair somehow, so I'll think about going to a sherry trifle fair, that should break the mould.

vasey - 25 Apr 2004 14:16 - 5383 of 23498

Hi folks.... I'm amazed all you guys appear to have ignored a post from a virgin lady poster to our establishment......welcome dotel! I met this addict in a seedy bar in Salford last week......and suggested she came down from the lofty heights of The Traders' Room and tried slumming it at Poochy's Palace. And none of you said 'hello!'

Lovely warm, bright day in London ..... but must go and do my homework before my evening course resumes on Tuesday. But I'm sure by the cut-off date I will have switched out of SMWH.....aaargh! What a horror!

optomistic - 25 Apr 2004 14:44 - 5384 of 23498

Bunny, got the answer to hedges: chainsaw!!

optomistic - 25 Apr 2004 14:57 - 5385 of 23498

Vasey, probably no one noticed the 'virgin' bit other wise I am sure a lot more attention would have been given. I hope better late than never dotel, WELCOME.
Is the Traders Room more educated than here dotel? I could find it difficult to beleive as we have some very 'bright sparks' in the Investors Room :-)

Socrates - 25 Apr 2004 15:08 - 5386 of 23498

I must have been asleep again, I missed dotels's appearance altogether.

Dotel - Welcome, if you like sherry trifle you're my pal forever.

little willie - 25 Apr 2004 20:34 - 5387 of 23498

A big sunny South African welcome to to DDDDDDDDDDDDDoooootttteeeelllll,,
sorry about stutttttter but Vasey 'V' word has got me all of a tither and I'm lathering up like a three year old on Derby Day. WOOHHAAA BOY!!!

Forget Socs trifle, he wont share it with you anyway but I'm known for my generosity; whatever I have is yours.

Played crap in the tourno, blamed the wife for our poor showing so cold shouldered from that quarter. More golf in a.m., seniors league, away to
Strand near Somerset West on the coast. Early start, 6.30. Night all...

Golddog - 25 Apr 2004 20:46 - 5388 of 23498

Poochy is sitting in the corner crying his eyes out! how could he of ever missed the charms and grace of a beautiful young woman to the cafe and all because he was hung-over on Bods. Poochy vows never to drink again (for a day at least) and come to his senses once and for all! Welcome to the Cafe Dotel and please enjoy a bottle of champers care of Vasey. Vasey, what was you doing in a seedy bar - you bad girl! :-)

Now regarding Ghosty! let's get this sorted once and for all!! You see the resident cafe Ghosty is neither one thing or another, an entity in it's own self being only exisiting when a cafe punter wants it to. In this light the ghost is not bisexual nor is it either female or male and you cannot visualise ghosty one way or the other! When referring to ghosty then he or she terms may be used but only in a textual way. Of course if Ghosty is participating in sexual activity especially with poochy then of course ghosty will be feminized if say Bunny fancies 'rabbit on ghost' naughtiness then ghosty will have nuts unless bunny likes a feminized ghost then we shall all be watching! Anyway i hope i have made the concept of ghosty clear and please feel free to use ghosty any which way you like. For those that really believe please find straight jackets in the store room cupboard. I will just get mine.

Ghosty: are you talking about me pooch?
poochy: erm! no.
Ghosty: oh ok.

dotel - 25 Apr 2004 21:21 - 5389 of 23498

Ok

I'll start again

Hi guys :)

And, Vasey, get kettle on again...you're such a bad girl, you've misled everyone again. It wasn't a seedy bar..it was poshtown on the right side of the river, apparently...and aksherlee...oh, never mind the virgin bit. This isn't the best time to re-introduce myself, it's been an outstandingly hot day, and I haven't dried out yet.

PS Lerve trifle, sherry is for old farts, mind you, but I do like the sound of being pally
PPS Hung over on Boddies? Try Robinson's
PPPS And I'm never averse to generosity, stammer notwithstanding

snoball - 25 Apr 2004 21:39 - 5390 of 23498

'ning dotel.
Welcome.
Sad being in here tonight isn't it?

jeffmack - 25 Apr 2004 23:06 - 5391 of 23498

Hi dotel, evening snoball.

Snoball, what happened with the indices, did you get stung? Been there myself a couple of times, always come back for more though, good luck.

This_is_me - 26 Apr 2004 08:14 - 5392 of 23498

So ghosty isn't a 'real' 'dead' person, or should that be a 'real, dead and really dead' person with a gruesome past?
