Suspension Update

Cambridge, UK, 18 December 2008: Meldex International Plc (AIM: MDX), further to the announcement earlier today, the Company is seeking to clarify its trading and working capital position. The Company is considering several strategic opportunities. Once it has greater clarity it will update shareholders.


In the meantime, the Board has requested a continuation of the suspension of trading in the Company's shares.


The Board was informed today that Steve Martin, CDO, has resigned from the Board. He remains with the Company to continue in his role of running the development side of the business.

"Clarify its working capital position" .... that won't take bloody long it hasn't got any !
