THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

hilary....non pas du tout, je ai étudié allemand français et espagnol à l'école. Je dois dire Im me pitthing au bugdooddle être un plonker encore une fois sur le fil. Quel branleur il est.

doodlebug4 - 30 Dec 2014 18:36 - 53958 of 81564

Gf, I don't know what makes you buy shares, but I buy them to make money and FLYB has certainly done that for me. If you care to read back through that thread - which you and your mate cynic totally polluted with your silly nonsense - you will figure out perhaps if you had climbed on board when I first said it might be a good recovery play then you could have made a few bucks aswel (sic). Tough luck old bean!

Pity your English is so bad.

goldfinger - 30 Dec 2014 18:37 - 53959 of 81564

Max thats why I say they need better management and the government need to keep out of it.

Its like schools, far too much government busy bodies.

cynic - 30 Dec 2014 18:38 - 53960 of 81564

what a brilliant solution Max - NOT!!

in fact, i'm pretty sure that you'ld find 99.5% of nurses and doctors would be more than affronted by your insinuation

==============

as for fred ......
he can come up with nothing remotely sensible to say, merely spluttering out yet another stream of claptrap with the usual skewed political snipe inserted

hilary - 30 Dec 2014 18:38 - 53961 of 81564

Allez-y, bugdoodle!

:o)

cynic - 30 Dec 2014 18:40 - 53962 of 81564

hilary - where vous is used out of politeness but with a singular meaning, should not the past participle still have an "s" at the end?

goldfinger - 30 Dec 2014 18:43 - 53963 of 81564

hilary..bugdoodle est un brave type, mais vraiment très humide derrière les oreilles, très vert. Il doit se assurer qu'il se occupe de son argent ou il sera victime de la bourse ... ps, décrire tome lentement ce que vous portez se il vous plaît.

goldfinger - 30 Dec 2014 18:44 - 53964 of 81564

Bloody hell cynic, your being petty.

goldfinger - 30 Dec 2014 18:49 - 53965 of 81564

Sugar DOW going down the nick again.

cynic - 30 Dec 2014 18:50 - 53966 of 81564

it's a long time since i wrote french, and even the speech element is pretty rusty, but i was trying to check my grammatical memory

i daren't correct your stuff though there are certainly some glaring basic errors :-)

cynic - 30 Dec 2014 18:51 - 53967 of 81564

Dow - oh goody goody :-)
may even bank a partial profit before the evening is done

goldfinger - 30 Dec 2014 18:51 - 53968 of 81564

Mark Carne WILL NOT TAKE HIS BONUS THIS YEAR.........................well done that man.

Should be more like him.

I think he should now be up for an CBE

MaxK - 30 Dec 2014 18:52 - 53969 of 81564

c.

I know a little (through others) about how the average nhs hospital and it's staff run things.

Not very well in most cases, with absolute stunning pig headedness being the order of the day.

This goes right across the board, from floor wipers to prima-donna medico's and management beyond.

It's an unholy shambles.

goldfinger - 30 Dec 2014 18:52 - 53970 of 81564

Cynic WHAT??????????????

History shows this period until 7th Jan is mostly bullish.

Bloody Greeks.

goldfinger - 30 Dec 2014 18:55 - 53971 of 81564

Max......the old fashioned MATRON should be brought back.

Hetty Jakes style.

Sort the NHS out in 6 months.

hilary - 30 Dec 2014 18:55 - 53972 of 81564

You're probably right re 53965, Cyners.

To be honest, my French gets me through on a day by day basis, but there are certain aspects of it that I really do struggle with sometimes. I'm still at the stage where I mentally have to translate to English and then back into French again. I'm told there's a point where, one day, it all falls into place and flows naturally, at which point you no longer need to translate back and forth, but I don't know that I can be bothered to wait that long.

:o)

goldfinger - 30 Dec 2014 18:57 - 53973 of 81564

Right Im going for my Stamp Pie for New Years Eve. Local bred, local butcher.

Far better pork pies here in the north than down south.

Need a big jar of pickles now and some HP sauce.

goldfinger - 30 Dec 2014 18:57 - 53974 of 81564

Duplicated thread.

MaxK - 30 Dec 2014 18:58 - 53975 of 81564

It's a good idea gf, but it's time has passed, it's all tick box these days.

And if the box is ticked in the correct manner, then everything must be ok.

goldfinger - 30 Dec 2014 18:59 - 53976 of 81564

Disagree Max.

Anythings possible with the will.
