This is going to go through the roof if they confirm what they say in the last RNS...going by that I would think that you could have possibly more than 15000 barrels per day...anything like 20000 or even 30000 and we are talking about an increase in the sp of 100p in one morning !.

pay attention kate!!
sp has zipped through all all-time high on a horrid day in the markets.
nothing is ever certain with shares, but with the Kurdistan news following on from that in Uganda a few weeks ago, this is surely almost as bullish as one can get
good strong finish too

i have now caught up with all the announcements.
while the find in Kurdistan is probably very significant (more news within a month), there is the very major obstacle that the Baghdad gov't won't let the stuff be exported.
that said, it's almost good news that whatever the size of this find, it will be at least 3 years until it properly up and flowing, by which time, we can but hope that the loonies have acquired some brain cells.

only SELL notes usually make much difference, but certainly like this ....

since breaking through the psychologically tough barrier of the (previous) all-time high, sp has chugged on upwards, partly thanks to above buy note, but also thanks to the recent RNS
Falklands oilies fans ..... eat your hearts out!
As have posted previously, stick to "real and proven" oilies rather than just ones with blue sky

woohoo!!! ..... though note the inevitable and legitimate caveat at the end
UK oil explorer Heritage Oil said it had discovered up to 4.2 billion barrels of oil in the Kurdish autonomous region of Iraq and that production could begin as early as this year.
Heritage said in a statement on Wednesday that its Miran West field would be low cost and straightforward to bring on stream.
However, disputes between the Kurdish regional government and Baghdad over revenue sharing mean existing oil projects in Kurdistan are currently stalled because their oil cannot be exported to international markets.
