I have a feeling in my bones you are onto something here.Would prefer a decent size deal- but I will have to live with a miserable number of shares if I go for it in the morning. If I go for something I prefer to take a decent bite- and I can't just now.

Agree with you about RAB but will have to leave them anyway for the time being.
Incidentally on the FTSE stocks I reckon a bank will be taken out this year- just a personal feeling but it would light up the sector and there are divis. I have BARC.

2 big mid trade buys, delayed reported an hour (so seen in the sell column, had to be buys as they were mid price I think).

These are what moved the price up, so hopefully its someone getting as much as they can from the MM's at mid price (as in cheap as possible), and once again the question, is this the defining moment when it starts to move up with some more vigour ? ;)

It looks like the time is here, a 10K buy at full 54p offer moves the bid up, so are we now on the run up and large buys are going to keep moving it up, little bits to start with and perhaps bigger bits once buys really start to outnumber sells over a few days.

Certainly a nice end to the day, let it carry on please.

Some short termers out this morning (technicals), so I hope the MM's keep the offer where it is and do not bring it down.

An ideal time to add would be Friday afternoon, I will be in for some more next week ! cannot make Friday :(

Small shake this morning and back to level.

Should really be the last week of weakness, if it is. Once we get into the week after next then from the 24th/25th T traders can start to come in for results and maiden dividend statement.

The company has moved on since Sept, an excellent trading update, a very good set of results coming, but the price has gone sideways, and is always the case, at some stage it will catch back up with events, like a coiled spring exploding perhaps :)

Patience is needed, and rewarded.

Nice "X" trade this morning, 168K at full offer.

If LEAD keeps up the strength now, and running into the results, we should be into a breakout on the charts, and that would be deserved from the financial performance of the company.

Will there be a convergence of factors as we enter mid next week presenting a move upwards ? Take a look on next Wed/Thu to see if there has been.

We should be at the end of the volatility now, and I would be looking for a blue week next week, well I certainly hope so now we have month end clear and into Feb with prelims due on 23rd Feb.

Nice to see a move up now we move into results month ! :)

The real fun starts when we break 60p and head for a breakout, that breakout could easily test 80p.

Three weeks of fun coming up, and then prelims, and what should be full media coverage following results and news from them :)

An edited version of the note has been posted by Mike Walters on his subscription site so it would be unethical for me to post more here until his subscribers have had a chance to digest its contents (although not much that your own research wouldn't turn up anyway). Unless anyone has direct access to the CS note I'll post more here in a couple of days - sorry to be a tease but the CS note is probably the reason for today's rise and a few PIs buying in.

crazycoops, it should be active. Excellent results, maiden dividend, potential new contract news, possible earnings enhancing acquistion, the other joint broker research note to come out........as HOT says, this could well be over 100p soon :) Patience is the key and not to sell out low, wait for the rise, then wait for the real rise to follow it after people sell out cheap as normal.

I do like that line, "active stock in the coming month", and of course, they should know whats happening. This will be a test for a lot of holders now, will they hold through the first up and then retrace, or will the weaker sell out on the first retrace. MM's will be testing with a shake around 60p I think, maybe before, and the larger rise if news is good will come later, will be fun to watch.
